HITSLAM 53 x 53 cm shower mat grip

A practical non slip shower mat designed to help reduce slipping in wet areas like bathtubs and shower floors. The HITSLAM square mat uses strong suction and drainage features to stay steadier during everyday bathing, while the TPE construction is made to resist mould and keep a soft feel underfoot. With its 53 x 53 cm coverage, it is suited to a broad range of standard shower and bath setups, including family bathrooms where extra grip matters.

If you want better security than a loose bath mat, this one brings a different approach by focusing on adhesion and water management rather than just texture. The suction cups are intended to hold the mat in place on smooth surfaces, and the built in drainage holes are there to help water clear away so the surface dries more quickly after use. 😊

The essentials

The HITSLAM shower mat is built for stability on smooth bathtub and shower surfaces, using many suction cups to hold it in position. This helps minimise movement when stepping in and out, which is especially useful in busy households. The mat is square and measures 53 x 53 cm, making it easier to place where you typically step during showers or baths.

Material choice also plays a role in day to day comfort. It is made from soft yet durable TPE, which is intended to maintain its grip and shape with frequent use. The anti mould aspect is designed to help the mat stay more hygienic over time, and the surface is described as skin friendly for comfortable bathing. 🧼

Water handling is another key feature. The mat includes numerous large drainage holes, which are intended to encourage faster water flow and improved air circulation. In practical terms, that can help keep both the mat and the shower floor drier, supporting safer footing and more comfortable use.

Cleaning is kept simple as well. Daily maintenance can be done by rinsing and air drying the mat, while deeper cleaning is possible through machine washing. That makes it easier to keep the mat looking fresh and performing well. ✅

It is worth noting that the suction is designed for clean, smooth surfaces, not textured or tiled floors, so surface prep matters for best results. The supplier also advises lightly wetting the surface before pressing the mat down firmly, which helps the cups stick. 🌿

Key features

The standout feature is the strong suction cup system, which is described as providing secure adhesion on smooth bathtub and shower surfaces. With 100 suction cups working together, the mat is intended to stay put through normal movement, helping reduce the risk of slips and falls. For families, carers, or anyone who wants more confidence around wet floors, that stability focus can be a big part of the value.

The mat is designed with anti mould performance in mind. The TPE material is described as resisting mould while maintaining its grip and shape through frequent use. This is paired with a soft feel, so it is more comfortable to stand on than harder bath mats. 👍

Drainage is handled through an efficient hole pattern. The mat includes hundreds of larger drainage holes to promote rapid water flow and help improve air circulation once the shower or bath is finished. When water clears quickly and the area dries better, it can help the whole setup feel less slippery and more comfortable during repeated daily use.

For fit and placement, the square form and 53 x 53 cm dimensions are designed to offer ideal coverage for standard tubs and showers. The mat is also described as versatile enough for different environments like homes, gyms, and spas, where multiple users need consistent footing. That versatility can be useful if you are equipping more than one bathroom or creating a safer bathing area.

Cleaning is practical rather than fussy. For routine care, you can rinse and air dry it after use. When deeper cleaning is needed, it is described as completely machine washable, so you can refresh it regularly without complicated steps.

Who it’s for

It’s a good fit if you want a non slip shower mat that stays in place using suction cups, especially on smooth bathtub or shower surfaces. It makes sense if you are looking for a soft and grippy surface for everyday bathing, and you prefer a mat that can handle moisture with a drainage hole design.

You may want to skip it if your floor or shower area is textured, because the product guidance specifies applying it only to clean, smooth surfaces for optimal results. Better avoided if you often use bath oils on the mat area, since the advice is to avoid oils to maintain slip resistance. If you can follow the placement tips, including lightly wetting the surface before pressing down firmly, it is likely to suit daily routines well.
