Hasbro Gaming Yahtzee Dice Game with Collapsible Silicone Cup and Storage Case

For a family game night, a holiday or a day at the beach, Yahtzee turns a handful of dice into a game of choices: aim for scoring combinations, or take a chance on a Yahtzee. This edition brings the essentials together in a portable case with a dice-rolling tray, so the game is ready to pack away and take along.

It suits two or more players aged eight and over, with a typical game lasting 30 minutes. The combination of luck and strategy gives each turn a decision to make, whether you are playing as a pair or sharing the game with a group.

Key features

The set includes five dice, 80 score sheets and a collapsible silicone cup. The all-in-one case also works as a rolling tray, keeping the game components together between turns and making it easier to take them on trips. A modernised look updates the presentation while retaining classic Yahtzee gameplay.

Players take turns shaking the cup, rolling the dice and scoring combinations. Straights and full houses offer different ways to build a score, going for five of a kind is the riskier route to a Yahtzee. The highest score wins, so each roll can influence how you approach the next one. If you want a travel-friendly alternative to carrying loose game pieces, the case and tray give this set a more organised format.

How to use it

Set the case out as the dice-rolling tray, shake the dice in the cup and take turns rolling and scoring. Use the score sheets to keep track of combinations, then decide whether to play for a dependable scoring opportunity or aim for the rarer five of a kind. Its straightforward turn-taking makes it easy to bring into a family game night, a party or a casual round while travelling. How much should you risk on the next roll? That choice is part of the game’s appeal.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the dice and score sheets together in the case between games, and use the tray when rolling to keep play centred in one place. The collapsible cup is designed to fit with the other components in the portable case, which makes packing the set for camping, holidays or the beach simple. With 80 score sheets included, there are sheets ready for repeated rounds with family and friends.

The game works for two players as well as larger groups, so it can suit a quick head-to-head round or a shared group activity. For a relaxed game, let each player weigh up the combinations available on their turn, for a livelier gathering, the changing dice results give everyone a reason to follow the score.
