Happi N Pets 71CM Cat Tree Tower for Big Cats 🐱

This tall indoor cat tree provides a roomy vertical playground for adult and large cats, offering a large perch, hammock and robust sisal scratch posts to help keep claws occupied while they climb and rest. It suits multi-cat homes where space for stretching and elevated naps is valued and it helps create a window-facing lounging spot for big breeds according to the manufacturer.

Key Points

The tower stands 71 cm high and includes three levels that let cats jump, scratch and snooze across different heights. There is an oversized perch measuring 60 x 40 cm that gives larger cats ample surface to sprawl and watch the outside world. The hammock on the middle tier adds a cosy, curved resting place that many cats find comforting during naps.

Construction focuses on stability with a heavy-duty base sized 54 x 40 cm made from reinforced engineered wood to reduce wobble during active play. The scratch posts are wrapped in tightly wound sisal rope designed to withstand vigorous scratching, which may be helpful in redirecting clawing away from sofas and carpets. The removable cushion for the top bed is machine-washable for easier upkeep.

Usage Recommendations

Place the tree near a favourite window to increase usage, as cats are more likely to adopt an elevated spot with an outside view. For multi-cat households, position the unit in a quiet corner to reduce territorial conflicts and allow simultaneous use of the hammock and perch. During assembly, ensure all screws are tightened and recheck them after a few days of use to maintain stability.

Positive Aspects

The oversized perch accommodates larger breeds such as Maine Coons and gives them room to stretch without hanging off the sides. The combination of a soft removable cushion and a snug hammock covers different resting preferences while the sisal posts provide a durable surface for claw maintenance. Consider that, according to the manufacturer, colours vary and the removable cover eases cleaning but the tree’s compact height may not suit owners seeking very tall climbing structures.
