## Description

This compact indoor/outdoor security camera combines clear imaging and weather resistance for everyday home monitoring. As a WiFi CCTV home camera it offers 3MP resolution, two-way audio and night vision, making it suitable for checking on children, pets and property with live alerts and continuous recording.

## Key Points

The camera supports both 5G and 2.4G Wi‑Fi bands to maintain a stable connection and reduce interruptions during live viewing. Two-way talk with a built-in microphone and speaker lets you speak to family members or deter unwanted visitors straight from your phone. Motion and sound detection send instant push notifications and the unit can auto zoom on moving subjects, helping you focus on activity as it happens. The unit is mains-powered rather than battery operated, so it delivers uninterrupted monitoring when connected to a constant power supply. 🌙

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **GUOANVISION S700**
- Resolution: **3MP**
- Connectivity: **5G/2.4G dual-band Wi‑Fi**
- Weather protection: **IP66 waterproof**
- Storage: TF card up to 128GB, cloud storage supported

## Benefits

The double-light system combines IR and full‑colour night vision to improve visibility up to around 30 feet, according to the manufacturer, which can be useful for low‑light gardens and driveways. Continuous 24/7 recording ensures no gaps in footage when using local or cloud storage. The alarm siren feature adds an audible deterrent if motion is detected, giving a clearer way to respond to potential intrusions. For parents, the camera can function as a baby monitor with cry detection and live two-way communication. 🍼

## Usage Recommendations

Place the camera under a shelter or mounting point outdoors to keep the lens free from direct rain exposure, even though the housing meets IP66 standards. Indoors, position it where it has an unobstructed view of the area you want to monitor and within range of your Wi‑Fi router to make most of the dual‑band support. Consider using cloud backup for critical footage in addition to a TF card, so recordings remain available if the camera is damaged or removed. The device offers one-touch control for lights and recording through the companion app, and access can be shared with family members for collective monitoring. 🔔
