## Description

This indoor/outdoor security camera combines weather resistance with clear imaging to keep an eye on pets, children or the front garden. It offers 3MP resolution and dual-band Wi-Fi for reliable video streaming, and includes night vision and two-way audio so you can both see and speak to whoever is in range.

## Key Points

The camera works indoors and outdoors, with an **IP66** rating that, according to the manufacturer, allows it to withstand rain and adverse conditions. Night monitoring uses a double-light system and IR/full-colour night vision for visibility up to around 30 feet, which helps when lighting is poor 🌙. Motion and sound detection trigger instant push notifications to your phone and the unit supports an auto-zoom feature when moving objects are detected, useful for following a pet or capturing a suspicious movement.

Two-way audio is built in so you can talk to a child or call a pet back to its bed using the integrated microphone and speaker. Connectivity supports both 5G and 2.4G Wi-Fi bands to reduce dropouts in busy networks, and continuous 24/7 recording is possible to a TF card or cloud storage, with a TF card capacity up to 128GB (card not included) 📡. Consider that the unit does not rotate, so pan and tilt are not available.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **GUOANVISION S700**
- Resolution: 3MP
- Waterproof rating: IP66
- Night vision range: up to 30 feet (according to the manufacturer)
- Storage: TF card up to 128GB, cloud storage supported

## Benefits

The 3MP sensor provides higher detail than standard 1080p cameras, which makes faces and small movements easier to identify at moderate distances. The combination of IR and colour night illumination reduces totally dark scenes by keeping a natural look at night when the coloured light is active. Auto-zoom on motion helps centre moving subjects automatically, reducing the time you spend searching recorded footage ⏱️.

Security and privacy are handled with encrypted transmission for cloud storage and sharing functions so family members can be granted access without exposing raw streams. The camera’s one-touch control for the light and camera features makes occasional interaction straightforward when you are at home or checking remotely.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the camera under an eave or sheltered bracket outdoors to increase longevity, while still allowing the lens and lighting to have an unobstructed view. Indoors, mount at a height that captures the typical activity area for pets or children, angling slightly downward to reduce glare from windows. If you plan continuous recording to a TF card, use a high-endurance card and check manufacturer compatibility before purchase, as heavy write cycles can shorten the life of standard cards.
