## Description

This stainless steel cat water fountain from GIOTOHUN helps keep pets hydrated with a 2.2 litre reservoir and a visible water level so owners can monitor supply at a glance. It is designed for everyday home use, offering continuous filtered flow to encourage drinking and reduce stagnant water.

## Key Points

The fountain combines a 304-grade stainless steel bowl with a compact footprint that fits most indoor spaces. A clear viewing window shows the current water level, helping to avoid pump damage from running dry and reducing the need for frequent checks. According to the manufacturer, the unit produces less than 30 dB during operation, so it runs quietly and should not disturb a calm household.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **GIOTOHUN Cat Water Fountain 2.2L**
- Capacity: 2.2 L
- Material: 304 stainless steel
- Noise level: < 30 dB (according to the manufacturer)
- Filtration: cotton layer, ion exchange resin and activated carbon
- Power adapter: not included for EU outlets

## Advantages

The use of stainless steel rather than plastic improves durability and allows for higher-temperature cleaning if needed. The fountain’s circulating water is passed through a multi-stage filter that integrates adsorption and purification, and the pump has a high-density sponge to trap fine particles. This combination aims to deliver fresher tasting water which can encourage cats to drink more often. The small size makes it easy to place in kitchens, living rooms or near sleeping areas without taking up much space.

## Practical Tips

Keep a spare filter accessible to maintain filtration performance, and clean the stainless steel bowl regularly to prevent mineral build-up. Consider that the EU power adapter is not supplied, so an appropriate plug or adapter will be needed for use in some countries. The low operating noise and subtle LED on the pump help pets locate the fountain at night while keeping disturbance to a minimum.
