## Description

## What it is
The GFW Classic Leather Upholstered Ottoman Storage Bed is a single-size bed frame finished in faux leather, featuring a stitched headboard and a gas-assisted lift mechanism for under-bed storage. It’s designed to provide generous storage space while maintaining a clean, contemporary look in a bedroom.

## What problem it solves
If floor space is at a premium, this bed offers a practical solution by storing linens, blankets, towels or clothes under the bed. The gas lift makes accessing the storage area straightforward without heavy lifting, helping to keep the room tidy and uncluttered.

## Key features in brief
- Single bed footprint: D202 x W106 x H85 cm
- UK standard mattress support (mattress not included)
- Upper frame finished in high-quality faux leather with a stitched headboard
- Gas hydraulic lift for easy access to lined storage beneath
- Full assembly required, assembled weight approximately 36.4 kg

## What to consider before buying
This bed is designed for modern spaces where storage is important but you don’t want to compromise on style. It prioritises practical storage and a sleek aesthetic over bespoke upholstery or premium materials. If you’re aiming for a natural wood or fabric finish, this faux leather option will be a different look and feel.

## Who it’s for
- Buyers needing under-bed storage to optimise a small bedroom
- Those who prefer a minimalist, contemporary bed design with a white, easy-to-clean finish
- Settings where a single bed is required, and storage is a priority

## Who it isn’t the best fit for
- If you want a床 with a heavier weight frame or a more premium material feel, this faux leather option may not meet those expectations
- If you require a larger bed size or a different storage mechanism, this model is focused on single-size practicality

## When it makes sense to buy
- When you need to maximise storage without adding extra furniture
- If you value a clean, modern look and straightforward assembly
- When you want a practical solution that integrates a lifting storage base

## What to check before purchasing
- Confirm you have a UK standard mattress to pair with the frame
- Ensure the room can accommodate the bed’s dimensions and the height of 85 cm fits with existing furniture
- Be prepared for full assembly, check you have the necessary space and tools for assembly

## How it compares in practice
For buyers weighing storage needs against upholstery quality, this bed trades some premium materials for functional space and a contemporary silhouette. If you’re considering alternatives, you’d typically weigh more robust build quality or different upholstery against storage capacity and lift mechanism. In daily use, the gas lift should keep storage accessible without heavy lifting, which is a practical advantage for regular organisation.

## Final verdict
Is it worth it? It makes sense if you prioritise storage and a sleek, low-maintenance finish in a spare bedroom or compact space. If your criteria include a higher-end fabric or a larger bed footprint, you may want to explore other options. Overall, for a practical, space-saving single bed with a modern look, this model offers solid value.

## Frequently asked questions
- Is the mattress included? No, the bed takes a UK standard mattress but is sold separately.
- Does the base lift easily? Yes, the gas hydraulic system is designed to lift the base for storage access.
