## Description

## Key points

For fires that need a ready-to-use solid fuel, GardenCo Pini Kay briquettes combine a bright flame with a long burn. They are made from 100% natural recycled wood products, with no chemicals, and have a moisture content below 5%.

The logs are approximately 200mm long and 70mm wide. Their shape-retaining design means they do not expand as they burn, helping to keep the fire tidy. The pack contains 24 briquettes in two 10kg packs.

They are suitable for open fires, wood stoves, log burners, fire pits, chimineas, camping fires and BBQs. If you are choosing between traditional logs for a familiar fire and a compact briquette format, these offer a defined size and a consistent shape to make storing and using fuel straightforward.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the briquettes stored ready for the occasion, whether you are lighting a fire indoors or preparing a fire pit or camping fire. Their compact dimensions make them convenient to stack, while the two-pack format lets you organise the fuel in manageable batches.

Use them in a suitable open fire, stove, fire pit, chiminea or BBQ. For a home fire, the bright flame can add a welcoming focal point, while the extended burn time means less frequent refuelling. Outdoors, the same briquette format is handy when you want solid fuel for a campsite or garden gathering.

## Getting the most from it

The low moisture content supports a hot burn, with the product described as generating up to three times the heat of regular wood logs. The briquettes retain their shape rather than expanding, and are designed not to spit or spark. These qualities make them a practical choice when you want a controlled-looking fire and less disruption while it burns.

They also leave a stated ash residue of 0.5–0.7%, helping reduce the amount of ash left to clear after use. If your priority is a bright, atmospheric flame, the glow makes that a central part of the experience, if you are mainly looking for longer-lasting fuel, the extended burn time is the key benefit. Follow the guidance for the appliance or fire you are using.

**Are these briquettes made from wood?** Yes. They are made from 100% natural recycled wood products and contain no chemicals.

**Do the briquettes change shape as they burn?** They are designed to retain their shape and not expand during burning.

**How much ash do they leave?** The stated ash residue is 0.5–0.7%, which can make clearing up after the fire more manageable.

## Final verdict

GardenCo Pini Kay briquettes suit anyone looking for compact solid fuel for a range of indoor and outdoor fires. Their low moisture content, shape-retaining design, bright flame and extended burn make them a useful choice for home heating and outdoor fire settings alike.
