## Description

Freekite 2 Pack solar lanterns bring a calm outdoor glow with decorative fairy and butterfly cutouts. They are designed to be simple to set up, so you can leave them to charge in daylight and enjoy automatic light at dusk. With an IP65 waterproof rating and a sturdy metal lantern body, these outdoor hanging lights are a practical choice for patios, garden steps, and everyday outdoor spaces. 🏡

## Key takeaways
These Freekite solar lanterns use updated solar panels, batteries, and LEDs to support reliable charging and brighter light output at night, according to the manufacturer. Each lantern is built with a metal body that feels solid and is intended for regular outdoor use. When the light level drops, the lights switch on automatically, which helps you avoid manual operation once they are in place. 🦋

The set includes two hanging lanterns, each with detailed cutouts that project patterns after dark. You can place them as table ornaments, hang them at the front of a patio, or use the shepherd hook style support for a more elevated look. The design is made to suit different garden layouts, from pots and planters to lawns and pathways. It is also reassuring that the lantern components are rated IP65 for water resistance. 🌧️

It is worth noting that the lanterns rely on direct sunlight for charging, so their performance will be influenced by how much sun they receive in your outdoor spot. For best results, position the solar panel where it can absorb sunlight during the day. If you want a decorative lighting touch that keeps setup easy, these lights focus on convenience as well as atmosphere.

## What stands out
The overall experience here is about combining decorative projection with straightforward solar operation. The solar panels, batteries, and LEDs have been updated by the manufacturer, including larger solar panel surface area for improved charging efficiency and improved lithium batteries for longer usable life compared with conventional batteries. The LED performance is also described as increased power, intended to enhance both brightness and projection effects when the lanterns are lit. ✨

Each lantern is sized for visible placement around an outdoor seating area, with 11 cm width and 20 cm height, so it can work as a table feature or a hanging accent. The metal build is highlighted as being resistant and durable, which matters for outdoor garden ornaments that get left outside through changing weather. The lantern support includes a shepherd hook style stand, approximately 72 cm tall, giving you flexibility to hang the lanterns higher for a stronger pattern effect.

Operation is designed to be minimal. Switch on the unit at the bottom of each light component, then place the solar panel in direct sunlight for charging. When it gets dark, the lights come on automatically without needing manual switching. This makes them easier to integrate into day-to-day outdoor routines, especially if you are setting up a patio for evenings or want a gentle glow around garden steps.

There is also a practical adjustability element with the shepherd hook stand, as each stand is made of four pieces so you can set it to a height that suits your space. The lantern cutouts include fairy, butterfly, and mushroom designs that create a soft pattern by night, adding a decorative layer whether you place the lights on a patio table or hang them near planters.

## Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want outdoor solar lanterns that look decorative in daylight and create a projected pattern at night. You will likely enjoy them if you prefer lights that switch on automatically at dusk, since you only need to switch them on once before letting them charge. It also makes sense if you are looking for IP65 waterproof outdoor ornaments for gardens, patios, or balconies where weather can change quickly.

It may not suit you if your outdoor area gets limited direct sunlight, because the lanterns need sunlight exposure to charge. You may also want to skip it if you need plug-in mains lighting or if you are looking for colour or brightness details not provided in the product information. If you are buying as a gift for someone who appreciates garden ornaments with an easy solar setup, this 2 pack format offers a balanced way to decorate more than one spot at home. The set comes with a manufacturer guarantee of two years for quality across the solar components, which can be helpful for long-term peace of mind.
