## Description

These solar lanterns bring gentle patterned light to garden corners and patios, combining decorative metalwork with simple solar power. They cast dragonfly and floral motifs after dusk while still serving as attractive ornaments by day.

## Highlights

Built from coated metal both inside and out, these lanterns resist rust and look neat in outdoor settings. The design creates soft, warm illumination that lasts several hours once charged, making them suitable for evening ambience on tables, patios or along pathways. They are cordless and energy saving, and there is no need to run wiring to enjoy their effect. Do note that charging and runtime depend on sunlight and positioning, according to the manufacturer.

## Tech specs

- Capacity: 1000mAh
- Material: Metal
- Colour: Metal finish
- Type: Solar lantern
- IP rating: IP65

## Why it’s worth it

The lanterns balance decorative appeal and practical resilience. The metal body feels robust, and weatherproof solar panels mean they can stay outdoors without constant maintenance. They are not the brightest garden lights, but they excel at creating a cosy, patterned glow that suits evening relaxation or low‑key gatherings.

## Everyday use

Place one on a table or hang them from the included shepherds hooks to line a path. Switch them on under daylight and the panels will charge automatically, lighting at dusk for roughly 6 to 9 hours after a full 5 to 8 hour charge in good sun. It’s a straightforward option for adding ambience without cables, and worth considering if you want decorative lighting with low upkeep.

**Freekite 2 Pack Solar Lanterns** shows strength in durability and ease of use, and **IP65** protection keeps them working in typical UK weather. **1000mAh** battery capacity and weatherproof panels support reliable evening performance. 🌙✨🪴.
