FLEXISPOT ONE PIECE 140×80cm electric standing desk

This FLEXISPOT electric standing desk 140x80 offers a robust single-piece desktop and motorised height control to help you switch between sitting and standing during the working day. It combines a solid MDF top with an industrial-grade steel frame so you can create a more flexible workstation and reduce prolonged sitting fatigue.

Key Points

The desk uses a one-piece FSC-certified MDF top, which looks seamless and is easier to clean than multi-join desktops. The industrial steel frame provides a dynamic load capacity of 70kg and a static load capacity of 85kg, allowing multiple monitors and accessories to sit comfortably on the surface. 😊

Height adjustment is motorised and controlled from a practical panel that stores four memory positions, so moving between preferred heights takes a single press. The usable adjustment range is 73–121 cm, which offers substantial flexibility for a variety of users and desk setups. This model includes safety features in the power system, designed to reduce overheating risks during prolonged use. ⚙️

Assembly is designed to be straightforward, with pre-drilled holes and a supplied tool kit. According to the manufacturer, typical assembly time is about 20 to 25 minutes, which means you can have the desk ready for work quickly. Consider that heavier components may require two people when lifting the top into place.

Usage Recommendations

Place the desk on a level floor and allow space for cable routing behind the frame, especially if you plan to use a monitor arm or a docking station. For ergonomic positioning, adjust the height so that the top of your monitor sits roughly at eye level and your forearms are parallel to the desk surface when typing. If you alternate between tasks, programme two memory positions for common setups, such as a seated typing height and a standing meeting height. 🖥️

The single-piece top simplifies cleaning, but bear in mind that MDF can be sensitive to prolonged moisture exposure, so avoid leaving liquids to sit on the surface. Also, while the motors include protections against overheating according to the manufacturer, frequent rapid height changes with heavy loads may shorten component life, so avoid unnecessary repeated movements.
