## Description

## What it is
This FINTIE case is a slim yet protective cover designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 8.7 inch 2025 (models SM-X135/SM-X130) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 8.7 inch 2023 (models SM-X110/SM-X115/SM-X117). It’s a no-nonsense, lightweight shell with a translucent back to keep the device’s branding visible.

## Key features
The frosted back shell is made from lightweight, slim translucent PC material, helping resist fingerprints and daily scratches while letting the Samsung logo show through. The front cover folds into two convenient standing positions for watching videos or typing, so you can use the tablet hands‑free or for jotting notes during online classes. A built‑in magnetic closure keeps the cover neatly shut when you’re on the move. Important note: there is no sleep/wake function with this model.

## Who it’s for
If you own one of the two 8.7 inch Galaxy Tabs and want a compact, protective case that doesn’t bulk up the device, this case offers a straightforward solution. It suits students and professionals who value simple protection, straightforward access, and the ability to prop the tablet at comfortable angles for media or work.

## What stands out (pros) and where it may fall short (cons)
- Pros: slim profile, translucent back showing the logo, fingerprint resistance, two standing angles, magnetic closure for secure closure on the go.
- Cons: no sleep/wake functionality, compatibility limited to the specific model family, check you have one of the exact supported models before purchase.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider this case if you prioritise a lightweight, minimal defender for everyday use, and you own one of the exact Galaxy Tab 8.7 models listed. It’s not aimed at heavy-duty rugged protection or models outside the specified tablets.

## When to pass
If you need a case with sleep/wake features, rugged protection for harsh handling, or you own a different tablet size or model, this option may not meet your needs.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm your tablet model name and year (SM-X135/SM-X130 for Tab A11 8.7 inch 2025 or SM-X110/SM-X115/SM-X117 for Tab A9 8.7 inch 2023).
- Ensure you’re comfortable with a case that relies on a magnetic closure and does not offer a wake/sleep function.
- Expect a slim profile, if you prefer bulkier protection, consider other options.

## Practical use example
You’re watching a lecture on your tablet during a commute. The case’s tri-fold front cover lets you set the screen at a comfortable viewing angle, while the frosted back keeps fingerprints at bay as you grade notes with a quick touch of the screen.

## FAQ
- Q: Does this case wake the tablet when opened?
A: No, there is no sleep/wake function.
- Q: Will it fit all 8.7 inch Galaxy Tab models?
 A: It’s compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 8.7 inch 2025 (SM-X135/X130) and Galaxy Tab A9 8.7 inch 2023 (SM-X110/X115/X117).
- Q: Does the back show the Samsung logo through the case?
A: Yes, thanks to the frosted clear back shell.

## Final verdict
Final verdict: a practical, value‑oriented choice if you own one of the specified 8.7 inch Galaxy Tabs and want a slim protective shell with two viewing angles. It isn’t the best option if you need wake/sleep features or have a different device size.
