Feandrea FluffyHug XL calming dog bed 110×95×18 cm

This plush dog sofa cover offers a cosy resting spot with protective features for sofas and armchairs, combining soft textures and practical design for medium and large dogs. It creates a calming nest with raised edges for head support and a water‑resistant base to help keep furniture cleaner, according to the manufacturer.

Key Points

The FluffyHug model brings a thick plush surface that comforts dogs during naps and provides a sense of enclosure for calmer rest. The cover includes a padded U-shaped border which acts as a headrest for neck support and adds a secure perimeter. 🐾

Protection is built in through a TPU water-repellent base that helps guard sofas against spills and light accidents. The underside has rubberised anti-slip nubs and a rear handle that can be tucked into a sofa crevice to reduce movement when your dog jumps up. The outer fabric is a soft ombré grey which blends into most living rooms and car interiors. 🏡

Cleaning is straightforward because the cushion has a removable cover with zips on the bottom for laundering. The mat arrives vacuum-packed so it needs a short airing and gentle shaking to regain loft. Consider that the manufacturer advises this XL size for pets up to 35 kg, so it may not suit heavier breeds.

Usage Recommendations

Place the mat on sofas, armchairs, beds or in the rear seats of a car for versatile protection and comfort. For travel, the lightweight cover can be moved between locations, but allow time for the padding to expand after unpacking. When used on smooth upholstery, insert the back handle into a foam gap or tuck it under a cushion to help stabilise the mat. 🧼

If your dog tends to chew or dig, monitor them initially, as the plush fabric and stitched seams can be disturbed by persistent chewing. For heavy soiling wash the cover following the care label instructions and let it dry fully before reusing to preserve the inner padding.
