## Description

## What it is
Exacompta 57745E refers to a pack of T-shaped record cards made from 165gsm hard cardboard, each card measuring 60 x 85 mm. The set includes a dispenser designed to protect the cards and allow for easy removal, and comes in assorted colours in a pack of 100. On the page you’ll find the core details without any hype, focused on practicality and value for everyday use.

## What it’s for
These cards are typically used for quick notes, reference records, or simple tagging in offices, classrooms, or workshops. The card size is compact enough to fit into small filing spaces or label holders while still offering enough surface area for legible handwriting. The included dispenser protects the cards from damage and helps keep a tidy workspace, which can be useful when you need to grab a card and go.

## Practical assessment
On the paper side, 165gsm hard cardboard suggests a sturdy feel that resists creasing better than typical thin card stock. The T-shaped design and the dispenser are aimed at improving handling—cards stay aligned, removal is straightforward, and less time is spent rummaging through piles.

## Who it’s for
This product is suited to users who value durability and a simple, low-maintenance organisation system. It’s reasonable for administrative tasks, labelling, or quick data capture where a compact card is preferable to a larger index card. If you prioritise a neat, protected setup with a ready-made dispenser, this could be appealing.

## When it may not be the best fit
If you need writable space beyond 60 x 85 mm, or require a glossy or specialised surface (e.g., for certain markers), these cards may feel limiting. Also, if you don’t need a dispenser or prefer a single-colour set rather than assorted colours, you might find other options more to your liking. The notes you can fit are modest, so for dense information this isn’t the ideal format.

## Before you buy: what to check
Ensure the card surface meets your writing instrument requirements and that the dispenser fits your filing or desk setup. Consider whether the assorted colours help with your categorisation system, or if you’d prefer a uniform appearance. Keep in mind the fixed card size—if you need more writing space, you’ll want a larger card.

## How this compares with alternatives
Compared with loose-leaf or larger index cards, these 60 x 85 mm cards prioritise portability and quick access. If you often sort information by colour, the assorted mix can be convenient, otherwise, a single-colour option might suit you better. In environments where a sturdy, protected card is valued, the dispenser feature is a practical differentiator rather than a luxury.

## Final verdict
## Final verdict
If you value durability, quick access, and a tidy dispenser-protected system for small notes, these Exacompta cards offer sensible value in a compact format. They aren’t designed for extensive writing or large data sets, so they suit light note-taking and categorisation tasks. Not perfect for those needing more writing space or a uniform colour, but a solid choice for everyday organisation with a practical dispenser.
