## Description

## Key features

This waterproof hand cast cover shields bandages, wounds and dressings while showering or washing up, combining protection and comfort for post-surgery care. Made from medical grade elastic silicone, the design follows a practical brief: keep moisture out without restricting circulation. The long opening fits most adult hands and slips on without a bulky plastic ring, making it straightforward to use after operations or injuries.

## Specifications

- Material: Medical grade elastic silicone
- Size: Universal fit for most adults
- Colour: Not specified
- Weight: Not specified
- Format: Reusable hand cover

## Pros

The soft silicone feels skin friendly and avoids irritation, according to the manufacturer. An updated sealing ring of softer silicone replaces neoprene and the removed plastic ring reduces bulk and potential discomfort. The reinforced silicone edges make the cover more durable and suitable for repeated use, so it offers decent value for ongoing recovery needs. Do note that exact sizing for very large or very small hands is not specified, so check fit if you have particular concerns.

## Usage tips

It’s a good fit if you need a simple, reusable way to keep a wrist or finger dressing dry when showering. Gently stretch the opening over the hand and adjust the seal around the wrist for a snug fit, avoiding overstretching to preserve the silicone ring. If you prioritise breathability over full waterproofing, consider airing the dressing when safe to do so.

## Care & maintenance

Rinse the cover with clean water after each use and leave to air dry away from direct heat. Store flat or loosely rolled to avoid creases that could weaken the sealing edge over time. Manufacturer suggests friendly after-sales support if there are faults, so contact them for replacements or questions.
