Entertainment in Video Mother’s Pride Blu-ray Film

The story of the Harley family gives this Blu-ray a clear focus: after losing their matriarch, they must work together to save their pub and village through the art of beer-brewing. It’s a family-and-community story for viewers who enjoy films built around people facing a shared challenge, with the pub at the heart of the action.

From the team behind Finding Your Feet and Fisherman’s Friends, Mother’s Pride brings its story to Blu-ray for a film night at home or a place in a physical film collection.

Technical overview

Mother’s Pride follows the Harley family as they come together in the wake of a personal loss. Their shared aim is to save both the family pub and the village, and beer-brewing becomes the way they try to do it. That gives the story a distinctive community setting: the stakes are tied not only to one family, but also to a local gathering place and the village around it.

The Blu-ray format makes this a straightforward choice for viewers who want a physical copy of the film rather than selecting a title each time from a digital service. Its story may appeal if you are choosing between films centred on family relationships and community life, and stories driven by a different kind of setting or premise. The connection to Finding Your Feet and Fisherman’s Friends also gives viewers a useful point of reference when deciding whether this film belongs on their watchlist.

Best use cases

This release suits a relaxed home viewing session, particularly for people who enjoy stories about families pulling together and communities rallying around a shared place. The pub gives the Harley family’s challenge a tangible focus, while brewing provides the practical thread that links their efforts to the future of the village. It can also work well for a film night when you want a story with both a family at its centre and a wider community concern.

If you are choosing a film for someone who appreciates the people-and-community focus associated with Finding Your Feet or Fisherman’s Friends, the connection to those titles offers a helpful starting point. Worth considering if you want a Blu-ray with a story rooted in family, a local pub and the effort to keep a village together.

Usage tips

Use a Blu-ray player to watch the film, and add it to a collection if you like keeping physical copies of films you want to revisit. For a shared viewing, the family’s effort to save the pub and village gives the story an easy central thread to follow: the challenge begins with loss, then turns towards working together through beer-brewing.

Final verdict

Mother’s Pride is a fitting pick for viewers drawn to family stories with a strong sense of community and place. Its Harley family storyline centres on saving a pub and village, with brewing shaping their attempt to bring people together. Choose this Blu-ray for a home film night or to add a story about family, local life and collective effort to a physical film collection.
