## Description

This motorhead cleaner replaces worn heads on Dyson stick vacuums and helps restore rolling brush performance for mixed floor cleaning. It fits a range of models and aims to improve pickup on hardwood and short-pile carpet with a quick-release design and anti-static filaments.

## Key Points

The Quick-Release Motorhead is made as a direct-replacement style head that connects to Dyson V7, V8, V10, V11 and V15 series machines. It features a fast-release button so the roller can be removed without tools, which makes maintenance quicker and less fiddly. The brush combines soft woven nylon with carbon fibre filaments to tackle fine dust on hard floors while still working on short carpets. For manoeuvring, the head allows wide-range articulation that helps reach under low furniture and into tight spots, and the end cap can be turned open for cleaning the roller with a coin.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **OMYOPY Quick-Release Motorhead Cleaner for Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 V15**
- Materials: ABS plastic housing, **nylon bristles** and **carbon fibre** filaments.
- Compatibility: Models V7, V8, V10, V11, V15 and brush types SV10, SV11, SV12, SV14.
- OEM equivalents: 968266-02, 968266-04, 967483-03, 967483-04, 967483-05.
- Movement: 180° left-right rotation and 90° forward-back articulation.

## Benefits

The brush head restores rotating action so it can lift dirt that a non-powered nozzle might leave behind. Because carbon fibre filaments are included, there is a reduction of static on hard surfaces and better capture of fine particles. The quick-release mechanism makes regular cleaning faster, and the ability to wash the roller after removing the end cap prevents hair and dust buildup. It is tailored for mixed cleaning tasks where you alternate between wooden floors and low-profile rugs, offering more consistent results than a simple hard-floor tool. 🙂

## Usage Recommendations

Remove the roller by pressing the release button and turning the end cap with a coin to access the brush for washing. Allow the roller to dry fully before refitting it to prevent moisture entering the motorhead. Consider that this replacement is not compatible with V6 series, DC models or Dyson Slim series according to the compatibility notes, so verify your model before fitting. For best performance, check the roller periodically and clear long hairs from the brush core by hand, using gloves if needed. 🧹
