## Description

## Key points
Duracell Plus C batteries come in a 6 pack, delivering alkaline power at 1.5V for everyday devices. They carry a 100% life guarantee on average performance, and the top closure is designed to help reduce leakage. The packaging is plastic-free and 100% recyclable, reflecting a more sustainable approach to common household batteries. Durability is supported by ambient storage of up to 10 years, making them a predictable choice for long-term readiness.

## Technical details
Type: Alkaline 1.5V C battery. Model reference MN1400. Pack size: 6. Storage: up to 10 years ambient. Packaging: 0% plastic.

## Pros
- Clear benefit for everyday devices with reliable performance backing via a formal life guarantee.
- Leakage prevention feature through the top closure, which can reduce mess in occasional leakage scenarios.
- More sustainable packaging with 0% plastic and recyclability, aligning with greener disposal habits.
- Long shelf life means you can stock up without immediate pressure to use them quickly.

## Cons / Limitations
- The guarantee is described as “100% life guaranteed” in broad terms, actual performance can vary by device and usage pattern.
- Some devices with high current draws may deplete batteries faster than others, the entry does not specify capacity in mAh for these cells.
- Not all users prioritise plastic-free packaging, so if packaging is less important, the advantage may be marginal.

## Who it’s for
Ideal for households needing dependable C-size power for remotes, flashlights, toys, radios and other common devices. If you prefer a straightforward, widely supported alkaline option with respectable storage stability, this pack fits that need.

## When it makes sense to buy
If you want a practical, ready-to-use supply of C batteries for regular devices and you value low-frustration storage, this six-pack offers convenience. The 10-year ambient storage warrants consideration for those who like to minimise replacement trips or who run devices infrequently.

## What to check before you buy
- Confirm your devices actually require C-size alkaline cells and are compatible with 1.5V chemistry.
- Consider your storage plans: even with 10-year ambient storage, rotate stock so older packs are used first.
- If leakage incidents are a concern in your environment, review how the top closure performs in real-world use (data here is manufacturer-provided).

## How it compares to alternatives
Compared with higher-drain battery options, these Duracell Plus C cells focus on reliability and everyday endurance rather than extreme power for high-demand gear. For devices that sip power or for household essentials, they tend to be a sensible balance of cost, performance and storage life.

## FAQ
Q: Will these batteries fit all C-device sizes? A: They’re standard C-size alkaline cells, commonly used in many household devices. Check device compatibility if in doubt.
Q: Is the packaging really plastic-free? A: The listing states 0% plastic packaging and 100% recyclability, which is notable for a consumer battery pack.
Q: How long can I store them safely? A: Up to 10 years in ambient storage, subject to handling and environmental conditions.

## Final decision
You’ll like it if you want a dependable, straightforward C battery solution with long storage life and a greener packaging approach. It may not be the best fit if you need high-drain performance for power-hungry gear or you prioritise ultra-long peak capacity over everyday reliability. If you value easy stocking, responsible packaging and a trusted brand, this pack is worth considering for routine use.
