On paper it combines a 90° oscillation setup, multi-speed control, and quiet operation, plus the convenience of app and voice control. That said, it’s still a tower floor fan: it’s designed to circulate air, not magically cool a room on its own. If you expect “AC-level” results from a fan alone, you may feel let down. ## The essentials The DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom is a standing tower fan aimed at everyday comfort at home. It’s an oscillating model with 90° coverage, designed to distribute airflow around the room rather than blasting one spot. You also get multiple ways to run it: direct touch controls, a remote, an app, and voice control that works with Alexa. The headline features are straightforward: up to 7.9m/s airflow (as claimed), 5 speeds, and 4 airflow modes. There’s also a 12-hour timer and a Sleep mode intended to be gentler for night use. ## What you’ll notice in use In day-to-day use, the biggest practical advantage is control. Instead of getting up to tweak the fan angle or speed, you can adjust it where you are—through the remote, via the app, or by voice commands with Alexa. That matters in bedrooms, especially when you’re already settled and don’t want to keep reaching for settings. Oscillation is the other thing you’ll likely appreciate. With 90° oscillation, it’s easier to keep airflow moving across more of the room, which is helpful if your bed isn’t positioned in line with where a conventional fan would blow. And yes, noise is part of the pitch here: it’s stated to be 28dB in a low-noise context, plus a Sleep mode for overnight comfort. It’s not perfect—any fan can still be audible depending on your room and speed—but the intent is clearly to reduce disturbance. ## Modes and timer: choosing your comfort This model offers 4 modes: Normal, Natural, Sleep, and Auto. The Auto mode is described as adapting fan speed to the ambient temperature, which can be useful if you want the fan to “manage itself” rather than checking settings throughout the day. There’s also a 12-hour timer, plus display auto off. The display auto off is a small detail, but for a bedroom setup it can make a noticeable difference if you dislike lights in the dark. A quick micro-example: imagine you’re heading to bed and want steady, not intense airflow. You’d select Sleep mode, set your timing for up to 12 hours if needed, and then let the fan run without further attention. ## Control options (app, remote, and voice) Where this fan leans into “smart” rather than just “remote-controlled” is the combination of app control and voice compatibility. You can access and control it anytime with the DREO app, and the description also mentions sharing the fan with up to 8 members. If you already use Alexa at home, it’s also positioned to fit that ecosystem—hands-free control can be convenient when you’re switching between the bedroom and other rooms. One limitation to keep in mind: if your household doesn’t use Alexa, you’ll mostly rely on the remote or the app, so the voice angle may not be as relevant. ## Safety and airflow design The fan uses a no-blade design, which is presented as safer for kids and pets. In homes where you’re trying to reduce accessible moving parts, that’s a sensible selling point. Pairing it with an AC unit is mentioned as a way to move air more efficiently. This is a common approach: the fan can help circulation while the AC does the heavy cooling work. It doesn’t replace AC, but it can support comfort depending on your room layout. ## Tech specs (what’s actually stated) - Name: DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom - Type: Smart tower fan with oscillation - Size: 40 inch standing fan - Oscillation: 90° - Airflow: up to 7.9m/s (claimed) - Speeds: 5 - Modes: 4 (Normal/Natural/Sleep/Auto) - Noise: 28dB (low-noise context) - Timer: 12H timer - Control: Touch, remote, app, voice control (works with Alexa) - Colour: Silver ## Images ![DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom \(90° Oscillating\) – 7.9m/s, 5 Speeds, Quiet 28dB, Touch/Remote/App & Alexa — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/WUPqQgE0oJvP86DqGR7JJ9ZmBsQ4mXZh5iZG45tf9hy6qXVVOIY-5DNIFTEvLtiiU5OrLphXA623EkWzXNP1g8ToF1pDySVg-t-kgAQxo2O9WW4_VTOxdFsJDw.jpg) ![DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom \(90° Oscillating\) – 7.9m/s, 5 Speeds, Quiet 28dB, Touch/Remote/App & Alexa — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Ws9TgX4O8zdQQ1ayowlkOZOPXwG3lJG7jOGnFaNHBiAPcR9xyV3s-_6UWF6tg_3egevTFjHmDZrraktOJa1682KuosHZ5ATce3fX4L2cO6Z2SIepsrcTwiOsCQ.jpg) ![DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom \(90° Oscillating\) – 7.9m/s, 5 Speeds, Quiet 28dB, Touch/Remote/App & Alexa — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/dcFZX8ILu-Dk8-_XThhEs4syOPehMZe2Yn9_L19KlmCNU9Gp6XQMp1k1G9770TuYb5Q5egyB2sGyAwirftkUkZVJCLFInv7BSIelPGdX7LM7eMGtFnz-u8vzIQ.jpg) ![DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom \(90° Oscillating\) – 7.9m/s, 5 Speeds, Quiet 28dB, Touch/Remote/App & Alexa — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/U-J_s92n0Oxwblf6K5Rmw9ZgTt7xsUlaQ6nMb2NSYMRpqqjaTT6vaevYfKme7PONH2WSXJflCP3WWCJummLfuyZ1hsOhkjHR6o97HD5UHQVNU7tY2KzGlqCnpw.jpg) ![DREO Smart Tower Fan for Bedroom \(90° Oscillating\) – 7.9m/s, 5 Speeds, Quiet 28dB, Touch/Remote/App & Alexa — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/CTxm2J7pfQPbK83ldHfbdR2XglwPzYM8LF1EWPOmyS0kWMAvaay7Dug9znJRBD0z_A6A_YEY-iu2gl13UMBE4YZBFWiR6COfNtZVds-a1RlQbABcSHPnBLavAg.jpg)
