## Description

This window and door draught excluder is designed to seal gaps efficiently, improving both comfort and energy efficiency in living spaces. It combines a wavy wedge shape with flexible foam to fit a range of gap sizes while staying easy to install.

Designed for practical use in homes, offices or vehicles, this draught excluder tape helps keep heated or cooled air inside and reduces noise and dust intrusion. Its 4 mm to 9 mm thickness range makes it suitable for gaps from about 4.5 mm up to 9 mm, adapting to different frame profiles and surfaces. 🪟😊

## Key Points

The product uses a PU foam core that remains elastic under pressure, providing a reliable seal even when doors and windows flex with daily use. The outer layer employs a smooth PE film that resists wear and protects the foam from damage through routine contact and brushing. The base includes an integrated adhesive grid that stays attached during normal operation, making removal and reapplication less likely to cause issues. This design supports a wide variety of applications beyond doors and windows, including furniture gaps, cabinets and other small spaces where insulation or sound dampening is beneficial. 🔒

The wedge-shape can be installed with the angle adjusted to match the sill or frame, helping to seal irregular gaps. After cleaning and drying the surfaces, the adhesive is applied and a short wait allows the bond to form before pressing firmly to secure the seal. At lower temperatures heat can assist the bonding process, making the tape more flexible and easier to seat for a thorough seal. 🧭

This option offers practical benefits beyond warmth and energy saving. It can help reduce street noise or household chatter, repel dust and insects and keep interiors cleaner and more comfortable. The tape is white to blend with most trims and provides a discreet, unobtrusive appearance once in place.

## Benefits

The main advantage is improved climate control with less energy loss in both summer and winter. By sealing the gaps around doors and windows, it helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures and can contribute to quieter rooms by reducing airborne sound intrusion. The flexible wedge design supports custom fitting when gaps vary along a frame, and the durable outer material resists wear during everyday use.

## Usage Recommendations

Measure the gap before installation to ensure the correct fit within the specified 4.5–9 mm range. Clean and dry surfaces thoroughly to maximise adhesive strength. Apply the tape along the sill or frame, then press repeatedly to secure the bond. If the environment is particularly cool, consider warming the tape slightly to improve adhesion.

If you are looking for a versatile sealant solution that can be adapted to many kinds of openings, this option provides a straightforward approach to improving comfort and reducing unwanted drafts.
