dosleeps Small Double Mattress 4FT 9-inch 120x190cm mattress
Product description
This small double mattress combines supportive pocket springs with a layer of pressure-relieving foam to balance comfort and spinal alignment for everyday sleep. The dosleeps model is made with a breathable 3D mesh cover to help regulate temperature and aims for medium firmness that suits many sleepers, particularly those looking for a compact 4FT option.
Key Points
The mattress pairs a layer of high-resilience foam with individually wrapped coils to reduce partner disturbance and provide zoned support across the surface. The surface includes a 3D breathable fabric that encourages airflow, helping to keep the sleep surface cooler over the night. For targeted support, the construction features a 9-zone arrangement that seeks to align hips and shoulders more effectively. 🛏️
Pressure relief comes from a memory layer that moulds to body contours while retaining responsiveness, which can help with comfort during longer periods in bed. Motion transfer is reduced thanks to the pocketed springs and the foam combination, so movement on one side is less likely to disturb the other side. 🌙

Benefits
The mixed foam-and-spring design offers the buoyancy of springs with the contouring of foam, which helps with both support and comfort for varied sleep positions. The mattress aims for medium firmness according to the manufacturer and may suit people who prefer neither a very soft nor overly firm feel. The 3D mesh cover assists with temperature management, which is useful for those who sleep warm or for use in rooms that lack strong ventilation. 💤
A further advantage is the motion isolation from individually pocketed springs combined with foam layers. This reduces surface ripple when turning overnight and can be appreciated by couples who wake easily from movement.
Usage Recommendations
Allow the mattress to settle and breathe for a few hours after unboxing, particularly if it arrives vacuum packed, because the foams and fabric regain their intended shape over time. Consider pairing this mattress with a slatted base or a sturdy platform to maintain airflow through the pocket springs and support the zoned system. Note that firmness and temperature behaviour may vary with room conditions and personal preferences, and according to the manufacturer some sleepers may find a different firmness level more comfortable.
