## Description

This galvanized steel tie-out cable with PVC coating keeps pets secure outdoors while letting them move freely, combining a lockable 360° swivel hook and reflective sheath for night visibility. Suitable for small and medium dogs, the cable comes in multiple lengths to match different yards or travel needs and offers corrosion resistance for use in damp conditions.

## Key Points

The cable features upgraded lockable hooks made from zinc alloy that rotate 360 degrees to prevent twisting and reduce stress on the attachment point, according to the manufacturer. The PVC-coated steel wire rope adds an extra layer against weather and abrasion while the reflective coating helps make your pet more visible in low light. It is lightweight, easy to carry, and intended for outdoor use such as gardens, campsites and walks when you need a temporary tether.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Galvanized Steel Tie-Out Cable with 360° Swivel Lockable Hook**
- Material: Galvanized steel wire rope with PVC coating.
- Hook: Heavy duty zinc alloy lockable clip, tested to withstand an instantaneous impact of 400 pounds, with 360° swivel.
- Length options: 10 ft, 15 ft, 20 ft, 25 ft, 40 ft, 60 ft, 120 ft.
- Weight capacity: for small to medium pets up to 60 lbs, 120 lbs or 250 lbs depending on the chosen model.

## Benefits

The reflective PVC layer increases night-time visibility which can improve safety during evening walks or in poorly lit yards. The swivel lock hook helps stop the cable from tangling, reducing wear on the rope and on the attachment points. Because the wire is galvanised and vinyl-coated, it resists rust and remains functional after exposure to rain, which makes storage and seasonal use easier.

## Usage Recommendations

Attach one end to a secure anchor such as a screw eye, stake or overhead trolley and clip the other to the dog’s collar or harness using the quick release clip. When wrapping the cable around a tree or post, clip the end to itself to form a loop for a reliable anchor. Consider length relative to the space available to avoid entanglement and check fittings periodically for signs of wear. According to the manufacturer, do not leave a dog tethered for extended periods and supervise pets while they are tied out.
