## Description

For PS5 players seeking a wireless controller with extra inputs and motion control, the Dinosoo combines six-axis motion sensing, dual vibration and rear paddles in one gamepad.

Its seven RGB lighting modes add a personal touch, while the built-in speaker and 3.5 mm audio jack offer two ways to bring game sound closer.

Choose it for a feature-rich controller that supports several platforms, if your priority is simply a standard controller for PS5, its extra lighting and control functions may be less important than a simpler design.

## Usage tips

For the first connection, connect the controller with the included USB-C cable. After that, use Bluetooth for wireless play. On PS5, press the HOME button to activate the console. The controller is also compatible with PC, Steam, iOS and Android, making it useful for players who switch between supported devices. It is not compatible with PS4.

The rear paddles add controls within easy reach, while the six-axis motion function brings motion input to compatible games. In an FPS, for example, you can use motion controls alongside the joysticks for aiming, or use the paddles for additional in-game inputs. How these controls work depends on the game.

## What stands out

Dual vibration motors provide tactile feedback during play, helping bring in-game actions into the physical feel of a session. For sound, use the built-in speaker or connect headphones through the 3.5 mm audio jack. These options suit different setups, from playing with sound close to hand to using headphones for a more private session.

The joysticks use Hall-effect technology and are described as having reduced dead zones. The manufacturer states that they are designed to prevent drift after more than 100,000 movements. That focus on stick input makes the controller relevant to games where accurate movement and aiming matter. Marco/Turbo functions provide further control options, while the rear paddles put extra inputs at the back of the gamepad.

Seven RGB modes include breathing, strobe and static effects. Cycle through them with the LIGHT button, colour memory retains the selected colour for the next use. It is a practical personalisation feature for players who want their controller’s lighting to remain consistent between sessions.

## What to know

The controller works with PS5, PC, Steam, iOS and Android, with initial setup through the USB-C cable followed by Bluetooth connection. For PS5 consoles running system software version 14.0 or later, a firmware update using a Windows PC is required to restore the vibration and speaker functions. This is worth factoring into setup if you want those features on a console running that software version.

## Final verdict

The Dinosoo is suited to players who want more than basic wireless input: it brings rear paddles, six-axis motion control, dual vibration and several sound options together with seven customisable lighting modes. For PS5 gaming, or play across its other compatible platforms, it offers a range of control and personalisation features in a single controller.
