## Description

This glass panel electric heater from Devola combines sleek looks with smart home convenience, offering 2000 watts of controlled heat for medium-sized rooms. It suits living spaces and home offices where discreet wall mounting or easy portability is needed, and the WiFi connectivity allows remote temperature control for timed comfort.

## Key Points

The heater has an IP24 splash-proof rating, so it can be used in areas where occasional splashes may occur, such as kitchens or bathrooms when positioned correctly. It includes both wall mounting brackets and a set of feet, which makes switching between fixed installation and free-standing use straightforward and fast. The built-in thermostat is precise to within half a degree according to the manufacturer, which helps the unit cycle efficiently to maintain set temperatures and potentially reduce energy consumption. The unit works with Alexa through the Tuya Smart app and requires initial connection to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network for setup. ⚡️📱

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Devola DVPW2000G**
- Power: **2000 W**
- Coverage: Up to 25 m² (manufacturer guidance)
- Protection rating: **IP24**
- Cable length and plug: 1.5 metre cable with UK 3-pin plug

## Benefits

Using the app you can create heating schedules and separate room zones, which allows the heater to run only when needed, potentially lowering running costs. The glass front is easy to clean and gives a more modern look than traditional convector radiators, helping it blend into contemporary interiors. The combination of wall mount and feet offers flexibility, so it can be moved with minimal effort when required.

## Usage Recommendations

For initial WiFi setup, ensure the router allows 2.4 GHz connections during pairing, as many smart devices need that band to connect reliably. If installing in a bathroom environment, place the heater in a zone compatible with its IP24 rating and follow local electrical guidance for placement. Consider using short timed schedules rather than continuous operation to make the most of the precision thermostat, because this approach can limit unnecessary energy use. The product includes a 12-month warranty with lifetime support and an option to extend to two years if registered promptly according to the supplied instructions.
