## Description

This soft close toilet seat from DERW combines a quiet slow-close hinge with a durable, easy-clean surface to improve everyday bathroom comfort. It is an O-shaped, white seat made of urea-formaldehyde resin and includes a quick-release mechanism for straightforward cleaning, making maintenance simpler for busy households 🛁.

## Key Points

The soft-closing action prevents noisy slams and reduces wear on the bowl and seat. Adjustable hinges and an alignment guide help achieve a snug fit for most standard O-shaped toilets, so wobble and misalignment are less likely. The quick-release button allows the seat to be removed and reattached in seconds, which helps when deep cleaning is needed.

Made from urea-formaldehyde resin, the seat resists ageing and discolouration according to the manufacturer. The O-shaped contours are designed for comfort while maintaining a compact profile that suits smaller bathroom layouts. Consider that very unusual or bespoke toilet pans may need specific fittings that are not included.

## Technical Specifications

## Usage Recommendations

For installation, position the alignment guide over the fixing holes and tighten the adjustable hinges until the seat sits level. Once in place, test the soft close mechanism by lowering the lid slowly to confirm smooth operation. The quick-release button is useful for regular hygiene routines; press to remove the seat, clean around hinges and mounting points, then click back in place.

Although the surface is designed for easy cleaning, avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the finish. If you require a heavier duty option or a specific antimicrobial coating, this model may not match specialised requirements, so check those needs before choosing. A gentle, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth will keep the white resin looking good for longer ✨.
