## Description

## What it is and what problem it solves
Delaiglow’s eight-pack of solar fence lights are weatherproof wall lights designed to illuminate outdoor spaces without wiring or ongoing energy costs. They use a high-efficiency monocrystalline panel and deliver warm white light for garden borders, fences, patios and pathways. If you want to brighten edges without adding to your electricity bill, these offer a straightforward, low-maintenance option.

## How it works and what you can control
Each light features an upward, downward or dual-beam mode, selectable with a single tap. The lights solar-charge in 4–5 hours and typically glow for 8–12 hours on a full charge. The auto on/off function activates at sunset, which reduces daily decision-making and keeps outdoor spaces welcoming after dark. Mounting is simple with expansion bolts—no electrician required—so you can install or reposition relatively quickly if your layout changes.

## What stands out (pros) and where it may fall short (cons)
Pros:
- IP67 waterproof rating plus sealed LED design means it should endure rain, snow and frost in typical UK conditions.
- Up/down lighting options help you tailor illumination to the fence texture, steps or borders, potentially improving safety at night.
- Solar operation reduces running costs and avoids wiring, making it suitable for fences, stone walls and garden perimeters.

Cons/limitations:
- The brightness and light distribution are specified only in concept, real-world performance can vary with sun exposure and placement.
- The eight-pack is a sizeable initial purchase, so consider whether this scale fits your space and budget.
- If you require very high lumen output for large spaces, a different solution may be more appropriate.

## Who it’s for
This kit is well suited to homeowners wanting a practical, energy-efficient way to mark boundaries, highlight textures or light pathways along fences and walls. It tends to suit small to medium outdoor areas where ease of installation and low maintenance matter more than intense brightness.

## Who it isn’t ideal for
If you need extremely bright lighting for large patios or commercial settings, these may not deliver the wow factor you expect. They also rely on daylight charging, so long winter days could reduce hours of illumination.

## When it makes sense to buy
- You want a weatherproof, programmable solar option that’s quick to install and easy to maintain.
- You’re opening up or upgrading a garden with fence lines or wall features you want subtly highlighted at night.
- You prefer a modular approach where you can add more lights later without rewiring.

## What to review before buying
- Confirm your fence/wall surface and sun exposure to maximise charging efficiency.
- Plan the beam direction (up, down or both) based on what you want to illuminate — e.g., steps, textures, or edges.
- Check the spacing and mounting points to ensure stable installation along longer fences or walls.

## Practical usage example
Imagine stepping out after sunset and finding a softly lit path along your fence. The lights switch on automatically as the sky dims, casting gentle upward glow to emphasise the fence profile while a second row on the opposite wall adds depth. You can tap to switch modes if you want stronger wall lighting for a gathering or a casual stroll along the border.

It suits garden enthusiasts looking for a durable, scalable, energy-efficient lighting solution that blends with a modern outdoor aesthetic.

## FAQ
