## Description

The CYCPLUS G1 is a compact GPS cycling computer that offers accurate route tracking and straightforward ride data for everyday cyclists. It combines clear day and night visibility with weather resistance, making it suitable for commuting and weekend rides.

## Highlights

Fast and accurate GPS lets you follow routes and record ride time, distance, total miles, current altitude and a clock. The unit uses higher sensitivity positioning according to the manufacturer, so you get reliable traces without extra fuss. The automatic backlight with FSTN technology reduces glare and keeps the display readable in sunlight and after dusk. The screen is protected by tempered glass to resist scratches from everyday knocks.

## Tech specs

- Name: CYCPLUS G1
- Type: GPS bicycle computer
- Capacity: 600mAH
- Waterproof: IPX6
- Display: Backlit FSTN
- Battery life: Over 20 hours

## Benefits

Battery life and waterproofing are practical strengths for riders who want a device that lasts through long outings and showers. The wireless design clears handlebars of clutter, which keeps setup neat and reduces snag risks. The device also supports auto standby after 10 minutes of inactivity, and it restores the previous ride data on wake.

## Who it’s for

It makes sense if you want simple, durable ride tracking without smartphone tethering, and if you prefer a dedicated unit that focuses on core metrics rather than many extras. You’ll like it if you value long battery life and a readable screen in varied light, though bear in mind advanced cyclists may miss mapping or live navigation features.

## Care & maintenance

Keep the tempered glass screen free of grit to avoid micro-scratches when wiping, and rinse the unit after salty rides to protect seals and connectors. For long storage, charge the battery occasionally to preserve capacity.
