## Description

This clear dental retainer kit from Hapefeey lets you create a personalised upper and lower set at home, keeping teeth alignment stable after orthodontic treatment while avoiding frequent dental visits. The kit is designed for adults and teens and focuses on comfortable wear and a discreet look that fits into daily life.

## Key Points

The at-home process includes step-by-step instructions and the option to send impressions for a custom-made retainer. Materials are described by the manufacturer as dental grade, free from BPA and latex, aimed at reducing irritation and ensuring longer-lasting protection. You can choose between different thicknesses such as 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm or 2.0 mm to match your comfort preference and the level of rigidity you need. The design maintains your current tooth position rather than moving teeth, so it is intended for retention after active orthodontic work. Note that results depend on accurate impressions and correct wear, according to the manufacturer.

## Technical Specifications

- Set: upper and lower retainers included

## Usage Recommendations

Follow the included instructions carefully when taking impressions to obtain a reliable fit. For daily wear, start with shorter periods to check comfort and increase duration as you adapt. Clean the retainers regularly with a soft toothbrush and mild, non-abrasive cleanser to avoid staining and to maintain hygiene. Avoid hot water when cleaning because high temperatures can alter the shape. If the fit feels loose or uneven after the first few days, contact the supplier for guidance rather than attempting home adjustments.

## Positive Aspects

The clear, low-profile appearance makes these retainers unobtrusive during social or professional situations. Choosing a thickness gives you a degree of customisation, with thinner options feeling more flexible and thicker options offering firmer retention. The absence of BPA and latex addresses common allergy and safety concerns, which some users value when comparing materials. Compared with in-office retainers, this kit is presented as a more cost-effective alternative according to the manufacturer. Consider that custom accuracy relies on the quality of the impressions you send, and that these retainers are not designed to move teeth or replace professional orthodontic adjustments.
