## Description

This pair of lightweight folding walking poles from COVACURE helps steady your pace on slopes and uneven trails while reducing strain on knees and joints. Adjustable between 100 cm and 120 cm with a quick flip-lock, these collapsible sticks pack down to under 35 cm for easy storage in a backpack, making them practical for hiking, camping and backpacking trips.

## Key Points

The poles use a triple-fold mechanism that extends smoothly and collapses compactly. Made from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium, they claim a lighter weight compared with some competitors and are built to resist impact on rocky paths and river crossings. The ergonomic EVA foam handles are moulded to the hand, repel moisture and include adjustable padded wrist straps for added security and comfort during long walks. Each pack includes tips and accessories to adapt to different surfaces and a pair of carry bags for transport.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: COVACURE Walking Poles - 2 Pack**
- Material: 7075 aluminium.
- Length range: 100 cm to 120 cm.
- Collapsed length: under 35 cm.
- Included accessories: rubber tips, mud tips, gravel tips, 2 carry bags, manual.
- Grip: EVA foam with padded wrist strap.

## Usage Recommendations

For fast adjustments on the trail, open the flip-lock and set the tube to the desired length, then ensure the locking mechanism engages before putting weight on the pole. The EVA grip works well in wet conditions but may require occasional cleaning after muddy outings to maintain a secure hold. Use the appropriate tip for the surface you are crossing, swapping the rubber tips for rocky ground and the mud tips for softer trails.

## Advantages

The construction in 7075 aluminium aims to balance strength with lightness, which can reduce fatigue on multi-day hikes while offering robust resistance to bending. Accessories included in the pack offer practical versatility so you can adapt to different terrains without needing separate purchases. Consider that, according to the manufacturer, the poles fold with a triple-fold system which may take a short period of practice to collapse and extend quickly in the field.
