Benefits
The throw aims to combine comfort and control, with a detachable remote that makes it simple to change temperature without disturbing a partner. According to the manufacturer, integrated heating elements provide consistent warmth and the programmable timer gives extra peace of mind by cutting power after up to 10 hours. There is also a note on running cost, which can be as low as 3p per hour according to the product information.
How to use it
Detach the controller and cable before machine washing to keep the blanket fresh and durable. The slim remote uses large soft-touch buttons and a clear digital display so settings are easy to read and adjust. It’s sensible to choose a lower heat setting for overnight use and make use of the timer if you tend to fall asleep with the throw on. It suits people who want straightforward electric warmth without complicated setup.
Care & maintenance
The controller and cable are removable to allow machine washing of the fleece, which helps maintain the fabric’s softness over time. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for washing and reattach the power parts only once fully dry. Note that advanced overheat protection is built in and the product is CE compliant with UK and European regulations.
