## Description

## What is this and who is it for
The COOPER Mag360 is a desk-mounted MagSafe stand designed to hold iPhone models from the iPhone 12 up to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. It aims to keep your device within easy reach at home or in the office, with a sturdy weighted base and a magnetic grip intended to stay put during daily use. If you prioritise a dedicated phone home on your desk for video calls, video watching, or quick access to notifications, this stand is positioned as a practical, non-intrusive option.

## How it performs in day-to-day use
On the desk, the stand offers a 360° rotating joint that clicks into place, enabling you to switch between landscape and portrait orientations without detaching the phone. The height is adjustable up to about 4.8 inches, which helps align the screen with your line of sight during Zoom calls or streaming. The grip is rated around 2.2lb, giving a reasonably strong hold for a MagSafe phone. The base is a weighted metal platform about 4 inches across, designed to minimise tipping, even when you reach for the screen or adjust the angle.

## What stands out
There’s a designated metal ring included for non-magnetic phones or cases, which broadens compatibility beyond standard MagSafe devices. The design also emphasises keeping your desk tidy: there’s a compact, portable form factor at roughly 6.6oz, with the option to fold down when needed and relocate to different spots around the home or office.

## What may be less convincing
If you’re frequently moving your phone around or need extremely aggressive grip under dynamic use, note that magnetic holds have practical limits, the device is designed for desk use, not active motion or rough handling. The stand relies on MagSafe compatibility and a magnetic grip that works well for typical desk tasks but isn’t a rugged solution for constant reconfiguration.

## Who it’s for
- People who want a dedicated phone home on a desk for video meetings, quick viewing, or following recipes while cooking.
- Users seeking a compact, non-intrusive stand with adjustable height and full 360° rotation.
- iPhone owners who use MagSafe and may also want to accommodate non-magnetic cases via the included metal ring.

## Who it isn’t the best choice for
- Those needing a stand for heavy, active use with frequent repositioning or one-handed removal in motion.
- Users who require a stand with ultra-strong grip for frequent cable management or industrial environments.

## When it makes sense to buy
- You want a simple, stable desk stand that keeps your iPhone visible for video calls or media consumption.
- You value a lower-profile accessory that doesn’t clutter the desk and offers easy orientation changes.

## When you might want to pass
- If you need a more rugged or clamp-on hold for unusual desk layouts or high-traffic surfaces.
- If you require a hands-free stand with alternative mounting options beyond a weighted base.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm your iPhone model and case compatibility with MagSafe and any slim or non-magnetic alternatives.
- Consider your typical desk height and whether the 4.8-inch adjustable range aligns with your viewing angle.
- Look at the base footprint (4 inches) to ensure it fits on your workspace without crowding other devices.

## Practical use case
Imagine a mid-morning Zoom: you place your iPhone on the Mag360, rotate to a perfect portrait angle for the video tile, and adjust the height so your eyes are level with the camera. You can glance at messages or notes without lifting the phone, then twist it to landscape for a quick conference call or a tutorial video while you follow along on screen.
