Cocodonut Light Up Dog Collar 70 cm 🐕

This rechargeable LED collar from CoCoDonut helps keep dogs visible on evening walks and in low light, combining lightweight construction with adjustable sizing for small, medium and large breeds. It offers three glowing modes so the user can choose steady light or flashing for greater attention, making night-time outings safer and more convenient.

Key Points

The collar is made for outdoor night walking, providing visible light along the dog's neck to improve safety near roads and in parks. It is rechargeable by USB, which avoids disposable batteries and reduces ongoing costs. According to the manufacturer, the strap can be cut to adjust and fits up to 70 cm, so it adapts to a wide range of neck sizes.

A waterproof design means the collar tolerates splashes and damp weather when walking in rain or puddles, although prolonged submersion is not specified. The LED unit is lightweight and sits along the strap without adding bulk, which helps maintain comfort for the dog during longer outings. Blue colouring gives a calm, easy-to-spot glow at dusk.

Usage Recommendations

Charge the collar fully before first use and test each lighting mode to confirm visibility distance in your usual walking areas. Trim the strap carefully if needed to achieve a snug fit without restricting movement, and ensure the cut end is sealed or secured to prevent fraying. For dogs that pull strongly, check attachment points regularly to ensure the collar remains secure.

When walking near traffic, opt for the flashing mode to increase contrast against headlights and streetlights. Use the steady mode during calmer environments or when you prefer a constant light source for locating your pet in the dark. Remember that battery life will vary with the selected mode and the age of the rechargeable cell, so carry a backup torch for extended outings.

Positive Aspects

The product reduces reliance on reflectors alone by providing an active light source that can be seen from multiple angles. Its rechargeable nature makes it practical for regular use over weeks without repeated battery purchases. Lightweight construction and adjustable length support comfort and fit, and the waterproofing gives confidence in damp conditions. A minor limitation is that full submersion performance is not detailed, so consider removing the collar for swimming sessions.
