Cat Scratching Post 84 cm for Kittens
Product description
Quick overview
This 84 cm cat scratching post is a compact indoor play centre that combines a sisal-wrapped column, dangling toys and decorative faux leaves. Designed with kittens in mind, it lets young cats stretch up to bat at the simulated palm leaves while a hanging ball adds an audible incentive to scratch and play. The post aims to protect furniture by offering a dedicated outlet for natural scratching behaviour.

Why it makes sense
The handmade sisal surface avoids staples that might catch paws according to the product details, so claws can be kept healthy while kittens learn to scratch in the right place. The moderate height helps a growing cat fully extend without overwhelming small or timid animals. The faux palm decoration blends into a living space without looking overly utilitarian, so you get something both useful and visually softer than a raw post.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want a compact, decorative scratching option for a kitten or small cat, especially when you need to safeguard sofas and chairs. If you prefer a very large or multi-level tower, this single-post design may feel too simple, but for many homes it provides a practical balance of play and protection. Installation is reported as straightforward, with supplied tools and a two-step assembly process.
Care tips
Keep the post stable by placing it on a flat surface and check fastenings regularly, especially after energetic play. Replace or rewrap the sisal when heavily worn to keep the scratching surface effective and avoid redirected scratching on furniture. Emoji guide: 🐾🌴🎾.
