## Description

This extra-large air fryer offers flexible cooking for families and gatherings, combining multiple functions and a roomy capacity to handle large portions. The Breville Halo Flexi Air Fryer brings an 11 litre compartment that splits into two 5.5 litre zones, making this large air fryer 11L useful when you need to cook different dishes at once and still have crisp results.

## Key Points

This model's standout idea is the split cooking chamber that allows two separate dishes to be prepared simultaneously. The Sync function times two dishes to finish together, while the Match function runs both zones at the same temperature for one-step cooking. The [amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Breville-Flexi-Fryer-Large-Digital/dp/B0CTVLFH8M?tag=ukofertitasto-21) exclusive large mesh cooking tray is supplied for batch cooking larger quantities of chips or vegetables, which helps when serving a crowd. The appliance includes 10 cooking presets and a set of accessories that let you air fry, turbo crisp, bake, grill, roast and reheat, so it can replace several countertop appliances. Many users will value that the Halo Flexi uses 360° air circulation and, according to the manufacturer, can achieve similar crispness with **99.5% less oil** compared to a standard 3 litre Breville fryer. 🍟🥗

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Breville Halo Flexi Air Fryer & Large Mesh Tray (VDF138)**
- Capacity: **11 L** (splits into 2 x 5.5 L zones)
- Power: **2400 W**
- Cooking modes: 12 ways to cook, including air fry, turbo crisp, bake, grill, roast and reheat
- Presets: 10 cooking presets for chips, chicken, vegetables, steak and more
- Energy claim: Save £65 a year on energy bills, according to the manufacturer

## Benefits

By allowing two-zone cooking you can combine a roast with vegetables without mixing flavours, and have both ready at the same time. The large mesh tray increases usable surface area so food crisps more evenly and you can cook larger batches in a single cycle. Controls are digital which makes it straightforward to select presets or customise time and temperature. For households that usually use a full-size oven, this air fryer may reduce energy use during smaller meals and busy weeknights. ⚡

## Usage Recommendations

For best results, preheat when cooking frozen foods and avoid overloading either zone so air can circulate freely. Use the mesh tray for chips and roasted vegetables to promote even crisping, and reserve the included accessories when a different texture is required. Consider that very large joints or singularly large items may not fit in split mode, so check dimensions if you often cook whole poultry.
