What you’ll notice day to day
You’ll quickly appreciate the quiet operation, which makes it unobtrusive in a bedroom or study. The three automatic settings mean the unit adapts to changing humidity without constant fiddling, and the Night mode reduces disturbance while sleeping. The semi‑transparent tank is simple to check at a glance and empties without fuss, though frequent emptying can be needed in very damp conditions.
Everyday use
It’s a good fit if you wish to speed up drying of small loads indoors, as the Laundry mode targets excess moisture. If you prioritise portability, the integrated handle and castors make moving between rooms straightforward. If you prefer a unit for very large open plan areas, note that the Dry 1000 is designed for rooms up to 17 m² and may not be the best choice for much larger spaces.
