## Description

This rechargeable head torch from Blukar offers powerful illumination with user-friendly controls for outdoor activities such as running, hiking and emergency situations. With a claimed output up to 2000 lumens and multiple beam options, it aims to balance long runtime and flexible lighting for tasks that require hands-free visibility.

## Key Points

The lamp combines a high-brightness LED and a wide-angle COB panel to deliver both focused distance light and broad flood illumination. It includes a hands-free sensor mode that allows switching the beam on or off with a wave of the hand, which is useful when gloves or wet hands prevent button use. The headband is breathable and elastic, designed to sit securely during movement and to reduce slippage on varied head sizes. According to the manufacturer, the built-in 1200 mAh lithium battery supports extended use and charges via the included USB‑C cable.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Blukar Head Torch Rechargeable**
- Maximum brightness: 2000 lumens
- Battery capacity: 1200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery
- Charging: USB‑C cable included
- Lighting modes: 6 modes (4 standard modes and 2 sensor modes)
- Adjustable tilt: 45° up and down

## Advantages

The mix of a concentrated LED and COB floodlight means this headlamp works well when you need to scan distant terrain and also illuminate a broad area close to you. Sensor control offers convenience during activities such as trail running or when handling gear, while the red light modes help preserve night vision during map reading or signalling. The adjustable angle lets you aim the beam without moving your head, which is convenient when tasks require precise lighting. The compact rechargeable battery removes the need for disposable cells and simplifies overnight packing.

## Usage Recommendations

For longer outings, use the lower white mode or the red steady mode to extend battery life beyond the highest setting. Activate the sensor mode when you expect to switch the light frequently while wearing gloves or when hands are occupied. The breathable elastic strap benefits sustained wear on warm days and during high‑intensity activities, while the 45° tilt adjustment is helpful when working on ground‑level tasks or on steep descents. Consider keeping the USB‑C cable in a dry pocket and topping up the charge whenever convenient to maintain full capacity.

Note that runtime figures depend on the selected brightness and environmental conditions, according to the manufacturer. The head torch is rated for water and impact resistance, but it may not be suited to prolonged submersion or heavy mechanical abuse.
