## Description

If you regularly work on shafts, clamping or pulling setups, a grooved nut socket can save a lot of hassle. The BGS 8337-8 is made specifically for loosening and tightening grooved nuts, and it’s the kind of tool that tends to sit in the toolbox quietly until the job demands the right profile.

On paper, it’s pretty straightforward: it’s a groove nut socket built from chrome vanadium steel and designed to suit grooved nuts that follow the DIN 981 standard. If that’s the fastening style you’re dealing with, it should match the task rather than turning into a “close enough” compromise.
