## Description

The BesWin office chair mat for carpet protects low pile carpet from caster damage while letting the floor pattern remain visible. It’s a straightforward solution for home or small office use, easing chair movement and reducing wear on both carpet and casters.

## Key features

This clear PVC mat measures 90 x 120 cm and is 2.2 mm thick, offering a firmer surface than ultra-thin alternatives. The smooth top surface allows easy glide for office chairs, which can help reduce leg fatigue during long periods of sitting. The transparent finish keeps your carpet visible, so the room appearance is preserved while the floor stays protected. Note that the mat is designed for low and flat pile carpets according to the manufacturer.

## Specifications

- Name: BesWin Office Chair Mat for Carpet
- Size: 90 x 120 cm
- Thickness: 2.2mm
- Material: PVC
- Format: Transparent

## Why it makes sense

The studded underside provides grip on carpet without embedding into fibres, so the mat stays flat and resists curling. It is claimed to be non-toxic and free from BPA and phthalates, which is reassuring for indoor environments where odour and volatile compounds are a concern. The mat wipes clean with a damp cloth, keeping maintenance simple.

## Getting the most from it

It’s a good fit if you want discreet protection that does not obscure a patterned carpet. Place the mat on low pile carpet and position chair casters within the mat edges to prevent scuffing. For heavier rolling loads or uneven carpet, consider a firmer alternate solution as the mat is optimised for low and flat pile.

The BesWin mat balances protection, clarity and easy maintenance, making it a practical choice for everyday workspace upkeep.
