## Description

This inflatable recovery collar helps pets rest and heal without obstructing their field of vision, allowing eating, drinking and light play while reducing licking and scratching of wounds. It is lightweight and soft, suitable for post-surgical care or to protect areas affected by skin conditions, and its inflatable design keeps movement comfortable and less stressful for both dogs and cats.

## Key Points

The collar features a soft outer fabric and an inner inflatable ring that cushions the neck, so pets can move their head more naturally and see around them. The outer material is washable and selected to resist light scratching and chewing, which helps avoid scuffs on furniture and prolonged wear. 🐶

Adjustment is straightforward with a strap that fastens at the back of the neck to secure the collar, and the design includes an inner ring with loops that allow a daily collar to be threaded through for extra stabilisation. Deflation makes storage compact, and the zippered opening permits removal of the air bladder so the cover can be washed separately. 🐾

Consider measuring your pet’s neck circumference before purchasing, according to the manufacturer, because sizes can vary and an overly large collar may slip off. If it does feel loose, tying the regular collar through the loops can help keep the recovery collar in place.

## Technical Specifications

- Size: Large
- Colour: Blue
- Material: Soft outer fabric with inflatable inner bladder
- Closure: Adjustable strap with zippered cover access

## Usage Recommendations

Use the collar after veterinary procedures, during treatment of skin irritations, or whenever it is necessary to limit a pet’s access to a particular area of the body. Inflate to a comfortable firmness that prevents the animal from bending to reach the wound, while still allowing comfortable breathing and movement. For hygiene, remove the inner bladder through the zippered opening and wash the fabric cover by hand or on a gentle cycle as needed. 😺

When fitting the collar, ensure the strap sits at the rear of the neck and check for any rubbing or pressure points during the first hours of wear. Monitor your pet’s behaviour and adjust inflation or strap tension if the animal shows signs of discomfort. Note that for very determined chewers or for certain surgical sites, a traditional rigid cone may be more effective, according to the manufacturer.
