Belababy Service Dog Harness M, blue camo

What to know

Belababy’s service dog harness is built to support dogs in training while keeping day to day walking practical. It uses an adjustable design so you can get a comfortable, secure fit as your dog learns, and it includes a sturdy top handle for better control during walks. The Belababy harness also features reflective elements intended to improve night visibility, which can be especially useful on darker routes 🐾.

If you want a therapy style vest harness that is easy to put on and take off, this one is designed for fast everyday handling. It can be fitted in under 3 seconds, using a combination of a quick release buckle strap and an additional Velcro strap, both of which can be adjusted to suit your dog’s body. For a calmer walk and less fuss at home, the padded mesh lining adds an extra layer of comfort against your dog’s skin, as described by the manufacturer.

Key features

This updated harness, labelled as an improved 2025 version by the brand, focuses on both comfort and visibility. Longer adjustable straps and longer reflective chest strips are included, along with enhanced reflective strips at the back to be more noticeable at night. The harness also uses stronger Velcro, which matters when you are opening and closing the vest frequently in daily use.

Dressing the harness is designed to be straightforward. The harness can be put on and removed in less than 3 seconds, and you adjust two straps to match your dog’s measurements. One strap uses a quick release buckle, while the other uses Velcro, giving you two ways to fine tune the fit. You can also hold the control using the top handle, giving you more confidence when you need to guide your dog through busy moments.

Comfort is a big part of the design. The fabric is described as 100 percent polyester with Oxford cloth, and it includes splash resistant function, helping with everyday mess. Inside, a breathable mesh lining and a soft sponge like padded layer provide additional cushioning and protection. There is also a note from the manufacturer that it is not suitable for machine washing, but it can be hand washed.

A helpful detail for daily outings is included on the vest side panels. The harness comes with two sets of removable service dog patches on both sides, so you can swap patches you prefer. In addition, near the D ring traction area on both sides, there are two hooks for hanging small items such as dog waste bags. So, rather than carrying everything separately, you can keep essentials closer to the harness itself.

It’s a good fit if you’re looking for an adjustable service dog training harness with reflective visibility and a practical handle, especially for evening walks 🌙. It might not be a great match if you want a machine washable harness, since the manufacturer states it should be hand washed only.
