## Description

This extra large dog crate bed offers a cosy resting spot for oversized pets, combining a plush Sherpa surface with soft padding to soothe anxious dogs and provide gentle support during rest. If you need an extra large dog crate bed for a crate, car journey or a sunny corner, this model delivers a roomy cushion and an easy-care finish that helps keep the sleeping area fresh.

## Key Points

Soft Sherpa top and cushioned filling create a comforting surface that can help calm pets during rest or travel. The mattress fits into crates and larger carriers, and also works well on the back seat of a car for long trips or vet visits. There is a practical side strap for carrying or hanging after washing, which makes handling the cushion straightforward.

A textured anti-slip base keeps the bed in place on hard floors, reducing shifting during play or when a pet stands up. This feature adds stability and a sense of security for dogs that move around while settling. Machine washable design simplifies cleaning after muddy walks or accidental spills, and tumble drying on a low setting is allowed according to the manufacturer. 🐶🧺

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Bedsure Dog Crate Bed Extra Large - XL**
- Size: 104 x 69 cm
- Colour: Dark grey
- Surface material: Sherpa plush
- Care: Machine washable, tumble dry on low
- Base: Anti-slip bottom
- Extras: Carry strap for transport

## Benefits

The thick, plush padding offers gentle support that can ease pressure points on larger breeds during sleep or recovery. The textile surface retains warmth while remaining breathable, which helps pets stay comfortable in cooler rooms without excessive overheating. For multi-pet households the neutral dark grey colour hides fur and marks better than lighter fabrics. Additionally, the lightweight design makes it easier to move between rooms or pack for trips.

One nuance to consider is that this bed is not designed as a chew-proof mat. If your dog tends to chew bedding frequently, monitor wear and consider a tougher alternative or supervise use. According to the manufacturer the filling is soft and not intended to resist heavy gnawing.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the cushion inside a suitably sized crate to create a padded base that reduces noise and improves comfort. For car journeys secure the bed on the rear seat and use the strap to stabilise it during transit. Washing after muddy outings will restore the plush feel, and drying on low keeps the fabric loftier for longer. For pets with anxiety, pair the bed with familiar toys and short, calm sessions to build positive associations with the new sleeping spot.
