Bburago Ferrari SF-23 Charles Leclerc 1:24 Gift Set

What this is

This is a 1:24 scale model car of the Ferrari SF-23 driven by Charles Leclerc in 2023, paired with a Charles Leclerc figure. It’s an officially licensed Bburago gift set, designed for collectors and Formula 1 enthusiasts aged 14 and over.

What it’s like on paper

The set combines a faithful die‑cast replica of the Ferrari SF-23 with a highly detailed Leclerc figure. The claim is that both the car and the racing suit are realistically reproduced, matching the look of the real team livery and driver gear. As a packaged gift, it’s pitched as a festive option for fans of the sport.

Realistic details and build quality

On the page, the model is presented as a faithful 1:24 reproduction. For fans who value accuracy in scale models, this means attention to lines, cockpit detailing, and exterior finish that mirrors the real car’s appearance. The inclusion of a driver figure adds a broader display option, allowing a compact presentation on a shelf or within a display case.

Why it might suit you

If you’re building a collection of F1 models or looking for a present for a young adult or adult collector, this set offers a compact, display‑ready option. It’s especially appealing if you value licensed, brand‑aligned replicas and enjoy adding characters alongside cars.

Potential reservations

No product is perfect in every respect. Some collectors prioritise ultra‑fine paint finish, precise panel gaps, or opening features in a model, this set’s primary appeal is its faithful scale and licensed look, not necessarily advanced mechanical detailing. Another consideration is that the package is aimed at fans of Charles Leclerc and Ferrari, if your display focus is a broader range of teams, you may prefer a more generic or diverse collection.

Who it’s for

• Fans of Ferrari and Charles Leclerc who want a display piece that reminds them of the 2023 season
• Collectors seeking a licensed 1:24 scale model to complement other F1 memorabilia
• Gift buyers looking for a present for teens and adults with an interest in motorsport

When it makes sense to buy

Consider this set if you want a compact, officially licensed display item that’s easy to store or showcase. It’s suitable as a festive gift or as part of a growing F1 collection where the emphasis is on recognisable branding and the pairing of car and driver.

What to check before you buy

• Confirm that you’re happy with a 1:24 scale and the level of detailing that comes with this range
• Consider whether you prefer a model with or without additional features like opening panels (not specified here)
• Ensure the display space suits a compact diorama or shelf unit

How it compares to alternatives

This model sits in a mid‑range collector category: smaller, more affordable than larger prestige kits, but with licensed branding that adds value for fans. If you prioritise broader driver line‑ups or more ambitious detailing, you might look for other 1:24 sets with different teams or drivers, or models with additional poseable figures and features.

Practical use and display idea

Place the set on a bookshelf or dedicated display cabinet alongside other 1:24 scale models. Pair it with a small LED light to highlight the Ferrari livery and the driver figure, creating a simple vignette that evokes the pit‑lane moment of a race weekend.

Decision time

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want a compact, officially licensed Ferrari 1:24 display piece that includes a Charles Leclerc figure and is suitable for a gift or a new entry in a Formula 1 collection. It may not be the best option if you’re after extensive mechanical details, oversized scale features, or non‑Ferrari lineups.
