Baodan Washable Puppy Pads (2 Pack) Waterproof Dog Pee Pads, 60x90 cm – Reusable Training & Incontinence Pads with Flowers Pattern
Product description
If you’re trying to keep floors looking decent while a puppy (or an older dog) settles into a routine, washable puppy pads can be a practical middle ground. These Baodan Washable Puppy Pads come as a 2 pack and are designed to handle accidents with a waterproof barrier and an absorbent core.
That said, no pad is magic. If your pet is very heavy on the leaking side, or if you leave it too long between changes, you may still get some mess around the edges. Still, for everyday potty training and casual “in-between” care, they’re the kind of option that makes life easier on paper—and more manageable in reality.
The essentials
These are waterproof training pads sized at 60x90 cm, made for use in scenarios like potty training, helping with bladder control while learning, or giving extra support for senior dogs and incontinence. The idea is simple: protect the surface under your dog so accidents don’t end up directly on carpets, floors, or furniture.
The pads also mention a home-friendly look. The flowers pattern is there so “where the pad sits” doesn’t look like an afterthought. Whether that matters to you depends on your home, but if you prefer pets-on-purpose aesthetics rather than covering every corner with plain plastic-looking mats, it’s a nice detail.
What you’ll notice day to day
The most immediately relevant part is the waterproofing and absorbency. The brand positions these as “ultra-absorbent” and as a way to guard floors, carpets, and furniture.
On top of that, there’s a non-slip silicone base shaped like a dog paw, intended to help keep the pad in place on floors or carpets. That’s a common pain point with disposable pads—slipping, bunching, or getting pushed out of the “correct” area—so having a grippy base is more useful than it sounds.
Here’s a realistic micro-situation: you place one pad in a playpen area and keep it there overnight. If a puppy has an accident during the night or early morning, you’re not just cleaning the dog—you’re also dealing with the mess location. A pad with a waterproof layer and anti-slip support gives you a more predictable cleanup path: lift, wash the pad, reset.
Key points on reusability (and its limits)
These pads are washable and reusable. The listing states you can reuse them “infinitely”, and that they’re machine washable with tumble dry. It also claims they should stay like-new without wear, tears, or loss of softness.
It’s sensible, but worth keeping expectations realistic: reusability works best when you change them promptly and wash according to the instructions. If a pad sits soaked for hours, it may stop performing as well as it did at the start, even if it’s still technically washable.
Where they fit in your home
The 60x90 cm size is positioned as suitable across multiple “scenes”, including:
- crate liners
- potty training set-ups
- playpen use
- travel or shielding needs
- helping protect furniture from fur-related mess
It also mentions use for post-surgery care and shielding sofas. That’s helpful for people who want a consistent, contained area without constantly swapping to disposable options.
Quick overview of the practical trade-off
A 2 pack is convenient because it lets you rotate: use one, wash the other, and you’re not stuck waiting for laundry to finish before you can place a fresh pad.
Still, there’s one trade-off to consider. Compared with the simplest single-use pads, washable pads rely more on your routine—washing schedule, drying time, and how quickly you can swap them when needed. If you want “use and bin” convenience only, you may find reusability a bit more effort than you’d like.
Is it worth it?
It makes sense to buy these Baodan washable puppy pads if you want waterproof protection for training and everyday indoor mess control, and you prefer anti-slip placement so the pad stays where you put it. The flowers design is a small but thoughtful touch if your pad has to live in view.
It’s not the best choice if you’re looking for a completely hands-off option, or if you expect to leave pads in place for long periods without swapping. Reusability is great, but only when you’re willing to wash and rotate.
Worth considering if you have a puppy learning routine, a senior dog needing extra help, or you want a reliable “cover the surface under them” approach in a playpen, crate, or sheltered corner.
