## Description

## What it is
AuroraWave LED Candles are a flameless, battery-operated pillar candle set. Each candle stands 6" tall and 3" deep, made of durable plastic, and is designed to mimic the warm glow of a real candle without fire, smoke or wax mess.

## What it solves
If you want ambient lighting for gatherings, weddings, birthdays or festive occasions without the risks of an open flame—plus easy maintenance and reuse—these candles offer a practical alternative that fits many decors.

## How it works
The candles run on two AA batteries each and come with a remote control and an auto-timer function. You can switch them on/off and set a timer for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. The timer re-starts daily, so you don’t have to reset it every day.

## What stands out
On the surface, they deliver a convincing flicker and a cosy ambience while staying cool to the touch. The included remote adds convenience for events or a living room layout where reaching every candle is tricky.

## What isn’t ideal
As a plastic candle, it’s not a perfect substitute for the scent or texture of real wax, and the experience hinges on battery life and the candles’ ability to hold a steady glow. If you prioritise ultra-dense wax aesthetics or scented experiences, these may not meet that niche.

## Who it’s for
Ideal for hosts who want reliable, reusable lighting for parties, weddings, hotels or seasonal décor, especially where children or pets are present. It’s also a sensible option for environments where an open flame is restricted.

## Who it isn’t for
If you want a true candle experience with wax, fragrance or a taller, more ornate pillar, you might be better off with real candles or a different decorative lighting solution.

## When it makes sense to buy
If you value safety, repeat usability, and simple remote-controlled operation for ambient lighting, these candles offer straightforward value for money and quick setup for events or daily use.

## What to check before buying
Confirm you’re comfortable with two AA batteries per candle and that the remote range suits your space. Consider whether your decor relies on a wax-like appearance or a specific colour tone, the Ivory/AuroraWave finish tends to blend with many decors but check your flavour of whiteness.

## Practical use example
Set up the six pillars along a tablescape for a wedding reception or lay them on a mantle during a cosy Christmas evening. With the timer, you can run them intermittently without remembering to switch them on all night, which is handy for hosted events.

## Quick comparison context
If you’re weighing options, this kind of flameless pillar is typically chosen for convenience, safety and reuse across seasons, rather than for high-end wax aesthetics or fragrance. It sits between basic, non-remote battery candles and more elaborate, scented or larger-scale electronic options.

## FAQ
- Do the candles flicker convincingly?
They are designed to simulate a gentle flicker, offering a warm ambience without real flame.
- Can the timer be used daily?
Yes, the timer restarts each day to preserve battery life and simplify use.
- Are the candles safe around pets and children?
Being flameless and plastic, there’s no hot wax or flame, they’re generally safer in busy spaces, but standard battery safety still applies.

## Final decision
## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you prioritise safe, reusable ambient lighting for events or daily use, with the convenience of remote control and a timer. It may not satisfy if you’re chasing a premium wax aesthetic or fragrance, but for practical, low-maintenance decor, these AuroraWave candles offer solid value.
