AQUA CREST DA29-00003G fridge water filter 300 gal

This AQUA CREST DA29-00003G replacement filter offers improved taste and clearer water for refrigerators that accept Samsung Aqua-Pure style cartridges. It pairs consistent coconut shell carbon block filtration with certifications that, according to the manufacturer, mirror the original equipment performance, so you get reliable removal of chlorine, odour and common contaminants in everyday household water.

Key features

The cartridge uses a high surface area coconut shell carbon block to trap sediments and reduce volatile organic compounds, THM, chromium, copper and chlorine. Installation is a simple twist or push depending on your fridge model and the pack includes month install stickers to help you track a recommended six month or 300 gallon service interval. A third party laboratory report is cited by the maker to support contaminant reduction claims, and the filter is produced to fit the same housings as the listed Samsung part numbers.

Usage tips

Fitment is straightforward and designed to match the original cartridge dimensions so replacement is a quick DIY job that usually takes only a few minutes. Replace at the stickered month you mark or earlier if your water has heavy sediment, and run several litres through the dispenser after fitting to clear trapped carbon fines. It makes sense if you want a cost effective alternative to branded cartridges with similar claimed reduction targets.

Care & maintenance

Rinse the filter briefly before first use and avoid long term storage in freezing conditions. Keep a note of the installation date with the provided stickers and swap the cartridge after roughly six months or 300 gallons depending on usage and local water quality.
