## Description

## What it is and who it suits
Aooshine's bedside lamp is a compact, contemporary table lamp designed for bedrooms and living spaces. It combines a soft, fabric lampshade with a touch-sensitive base and three brightness levels, plus built‑in USB A and USB C charging ports. If you want a plug‑in light that doubles as a practical charging station for phones, tablets or small devices, this model aims to cover both mood lighting and everyday power needs without clutter.

## How it works
The lamp is controlled by a touch sensor on the metal base. A tap cycles through three brightness levels, from a gentle night light to a brighter setting suitable for reading or working. The lampshade uses coarse grey fabric that emits a warm, steady glow rather than a harsh beam. Included is an E27 LED bulb (Q50, 3000K) to deliver a stable warm white light from the start, with the added benefit of longer life and lower energy use compared with traditional bulbs.

## What stands out
- Practical charging: USB A and USB C ports (5V/2A) stay available whether the lamp is on or off, making it convenient to top up devices on the bedside table.
- Flexible lighting: 3-step dimming allows a quick tweak for wind-down routines or focused tasks without needing multiple lamps.
- Clean, modern look: The grey fabric shade and understated metal base offer a contemporary aesthetic that can slot into most bedrooms or living areas.

## Potential limitations
- The accessory is fixed to a single light source, if you need multi-directional light or very high brightness for large rooms, this may not replace a dedicated lamp for all purposes.
- The bulb is included as an LED with a 3000K warm tone. If you prefer a cooler daylight colour or a different base, you’d need to swap the bulb, which could alter the light quality.
- While the USB ports are handy, the specification notes 5V/2A—charge speed may vary with device and cable quality, and it’s not designed for high‑drain gear like some laptops.

## When it makes sense to buy
- You want a compact, single‑unit bedside solution with charging built in.
- You value a soft, ambient mood light that also supports daily tasks such as reading.
- You prefer a straightforward, no‑fuss control system rather than a smart home setup.

## When it might not be the best fit
- If you require very bright illumination or a lamp for a large living area, this 3‑level dimmable option may feel limited.
- If you rely on rapid, high‑speed USB charging for multiple high‑draw devices, you may want a separate charger or power strip with higher output.
- If you love fully customisable light colour temperatures, the fixed 3000K bulb might not satisfy every preference.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm your room layout and bedside table size to ensure the lamp fits with the shade and base proportions.
- Check the availability of the included LED bulb, if you plan to swap to a different bulb, ensure the base remains compatible (E27).
- Consider cable length and outlet position on the wall to avoid excess slack or strain on the USB ports.

## Practical usage example
On a typical nightstand, you can dim the light to a barely-there glow for late‑night reading, then tap once to raise brightness for a daytime task or getting ready in the morning. The USB ports let you charge a phone or a tablet within arm’s reach, so you don’t need extra chargers cluttering the surface.

## FAQ
- Is the light suitable for reading? Yes, at the brightest setting it provides adequate illumination for reading tasks without glare.
- Can I use my own bulb? The lamp ships with an E27 LED bulb, you can replace it with another E27 bulb if needed, but verify warmth and size compatibility.
- Are the USB ports fast charging? The ports are rated 5V/2A, which is typical for bedside charging and may vary by device.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you prioritise a compact, all‑in‑one bedside solution with built‑in charging and a warm, unobtrusive light. It may not be the best option if you need very bright light or a wider range of colour temperatures.
