## Description

Angel Shield’s natural wooden toilet seat brings a quieter, more durable option to the bathroom while keeping cleaning straightforward and long term maintenance low. The oval seat combines a solid wood veneer surface with a pressed wood core, giving scratch resistance and an organic feel that contrasts with standard plastic seats. The slow close lid prevents slams and reduces wear, while the quick release hinges make thorough cleaning simple.

## Key features

The seat is designed for everyday comfort and practicality. It fits most European oval pans with overall seat dimensions of 45x37cm and offers an ergonomic contour for comfortable use. The dark walnut finish gives a warmer look to the bathroom without adding bulk. A microscopic antibacterial effect is claimed by the manufacturer, and the surface resists fouling so wipe-downs take less effort. Light and frequent cleaning keeps it looking its best, and the quick release makes access between the hinges effortless.

## Tech specs

- Size: 45x37cm
- Material: wood flour press with solid wood veneer
- Colour: Dark Walnut
- Hinges: zinc alloy, adjustable 111–199mm
- Shape: Oval

## Why it makes sense

The slow close mechanism reduces noise and the risk of damage over time, so the seat stays aligned and functional for longer according to the manufacturer. The adjustable zinc alloy hinges rotate for a precise fit, which helps if your pan’s hinge centres vary. There is a clear limitation to note, the product suits oval pans of the stated size so measure your bowl before ordering. Customer care and a one year quality pledge are offered for reassurance.

## Getting the most from it

Measure hinge centres and bowl dimensions before installing, then use the quick release to remove the seat for a full clean occasionally. It’s a good fit if you prefer a warmer timber aesthetic in the loo and want an easy to maintain seat that reduces slamming noise. For busy households the slow close and quick release features save time and reduce maintenance effort.
