## Description

This clear packing tape is designed for sealing boxes during moves and storage, offering a reliable hold for cartons and parcels. If you need a straightforward moving and storage packaging tape that stays transparent and sticks well over time, this six-roll set provides a practical solution for household or small business use.

## Key Points

The rolls are made from biaxially oriented polypropylene which keeps the tape strong while remaining flexible. The acrylic polymer adhesive is water based and develops a firmer bond as time passes, according to the manufacturer. It is completely transparent so labels and addresses remain visible when applied, and it gives a neat, professional look to packed boxes. For faster application you can use a standard tape dispenser, though that is not included with the product. 📦

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **[amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Moving-Storage-Packing-Clear-6-Pack/dp/B0822PRFB4?tag=ukofertitasto-21) Basics Moving and Storage Packaging Tape, 6 count, 4.7 cm x 99.6 m, Clear**
- Material: BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene)
- Adhesive: Water-based acrylic polymer
- Dimensions: 4.7 cm x 99.6 m per roll
- Quantity: 6 rolls

## Usage Recommendations

Apply the tape to the seams of boxes with firm pressure for best adhesion. For heavy or overfilled cartons, run two strips across the top seam and one down the centre to reduce the risk of the box opening during handling. When labelling parcels, place the address over a smaller piece of tape if you prefer further protection for the label. For machine or large-scale packing tasks, consider a core-compatible dispenser that accepts 4.7 cm wide tapes to speed up the process. 🚚

## Positive Aspects

The transparent finish keeps the appearance tidy and ensures printed information remains legible. The roll length of 99.6 m means fewer roll changes for routine packing tasks, which is convenient for moving days or when preparing multiple shipments. The adhesive’s property of strengthening with time can be useful for long-term storage since boxes tend to stay sealed more securely over weeks or months. A minor point to note is that, as with many acrylic adhesives, bonding may take a short while to reach its maximum strength at lower temperatures, so allow extra time if you are packing in cool conditions. ✨
