If you are replacing a worn or stiff flap, ensure the cutout on your door matches the provided dimensions for a secure fit. After installation, test the movement of the flap with your pet to confirm it opens smoothly and returns to position reliably. This approach helps keep pet access convenient while safeguarding your home from drafts and pests. For households with more than one pet, consider keeping an extra spare flap on hand to minimise downtime during replacements.
