Product description
This extendable curtain pole from amazon Basics offers a simple solution for wide windows, combining a sleek nickel finish with functional adjustability for rooms that need greater privacy and light control. With a telescoping design that reaches up to 377.2 cm, it suits large openings and supports heavier drapes while keeping a clean, balanced look.
Key Points
The pole extends from 194.3 cm to 377.2 cm end to end, making it suitable for extra-long or bay windows. It comes with decorative cap finials at each end that help keep curtains from sliding off and add a discreet finishing touch. According to the manufacturer, the rod supports up to 9.9 kg, and a mid-section support is included to reduce sagging across the longer span. The finish is a nickel tone that matches a range of interiors, from contemporary to more traditional schemes.

Usage Recommendations
Install the included wall mounts at the recommended intervals and make use of the mid-section support for the best stability when hanging heavier fabrics. The adjustable wall clearance on the brackets lets you position the pole for perfect curtain fall or to clear radiator tops and window handles. For smoother opening and closing, pair the pole with compatible curtain rings or runners sold separately.
Positive Aspects
The lightweight construction makes handling and installation straightforward while still offering adequate strength for lined or heavier curtain fabrics. The telescoping mechanism simplifies sizing without the need to cut or join sections, and the nickel finish provides a neutral metallic accent that integrates with many décor palettes. Consider that very heavy or extremely long installations may require additional supports beyond the supplied mid bracket for maximum rigidity.
